well I went from 350 to 247 so far and I've unfortunately still got a full fledged hanging belly but I don't expect it to dissapear. Even when I hit 160. Why? Because of the stretched out skin from being obese for so long. There will always be hanging there unless it's surgically removed. Same thing for my arms! I hope…

I started February 2013 and set out to lose any and all excess weight. I'm not done... but I'd say over 100 lbs lost is a very fair accomplishment for 10 months time! Looking to get under 200 lbs in 2014. I'm so excited to see where I can take this new life of mine!! I hope you find the motivation you are looking for! I'm…

I just wanted to say thank you for every single person who took the time to write your sweet message to me. I'm overwhelmed with happy tears right now. One person in particular really spoke to me and touched on something I still need to work on, and that is to accept and love myself for who I am now! That is so hard to do.…

Thanks all of you for the kind words. It's really been an emotional journey. I feel like I'm in someone else's body and an experiencing new things.. Such as clothes that are uncomfortable because they are actually too big instead of too tight. I've never been thin and healthy in my adult life and in really looking forward…

I'm 5'4". Started my journey in February 2013 @ 350 lbs. I've been up as high as 386 or so tho :( ( I imagine in 2008 during the top photo I was somewhere around there) Here is a comparison I put together from two different times seeing one of my best friends. I am currently @ 278 with a long road ahead of me.... but I…

Thank you all so very much! Skinnykenny, I started my weight loss journey in February 2013 with an A1C of 6.4. I'm sure I will always have to watch my carb in-take closely to avoid diabetes from creeping back. And I will! Thanks again for celebrating with me :)

thanks to everyone of you :) it's a hard road. every month i have a week of struggle and self-doubt and an urge to slip back in to old ways ( shark week) and every month I somehow manage to overcome it. it's hard to lose weight when you'd like to shove everything in the fridge down your throat. lol thank god for almonds. i…

I was taking One A Day Vitacraves before starting my journey then realizing they have useless carbohydrates in them I switched to a prenatal (as my doctor suggested) NEW CHAPTER perfect prenatal multivitamin. It's found at health food stores and is non-gmo. I had a rough first day realizing that a serving size is 3 and…
