Does anyone know if I can just get a watch (mine is missing) and will it work with you coded transmitter is have?

That is likely what I will do. I thought the fitbit would be more than a step counter. I like the idea of new technology but the Polar ratings say it all.

Got my handheld at Costco today and ready to try it out.

Great recipes!! Adding them all to my file. Thanks for the heads up on the Vitamix but that one is WAY more than what I would spend for a appliance but it doesn't sound nice.

Anyone?

bump..... been looking for a chicken salad recipe

Really no faves but I am getting one of those handheld blenders this weekend. I love smoothies but hate cleaning the blender.

Be careful and do your own research. I am a nurse and had the Mirena for several years. It can take up to a year to regulate your cycle and can result in very long periods (think spotting for a month or more) while you regulate. However after that year they are as others have said very easy and have few issues.

I too am on the 1200 calories limit as I have very little to lose. High calorie drinks can burn up those cal quick. I am an evening sweet and salty snacker with usualy few calories to spare. Here are a few of my go tos: 40 cal- sugar free fudge pops (Publix brand) 55 cal- 1/2 serving (about 13 chips) Special K Craker Chips…

I use Zumba DVDs. I dropped the gym membership long ago as I was only going for Zumba. There are shorter video on you tube also. The DVD sets aren't cheap but I look at it as buying a few months of a gym membership.

Zumba!! It is a constant work of your abs so they can't help but tighten.

Zumba or Rockin Body with Shaun T DVDs. If you give them your all you can burn 500+ calories with each work out. They are both fun which makes them easier to stick with.

I went shopping and ended up with 40 fudge pops sugar free and dark chocolate baking chips. I looked at Publix organice but couldn't locate the Grren and Black but I will hit the organic stores soon.

I am a chocolate lover too. Here's a thread where I got lots of great suggestions: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/885254-chocolate-lover-need-suggestions So far I bought fudge popcicles (40 calories each) and some dark chocolate baking chips. I do agree with not bring high cal chocolate items in your home if you…

Wow lots of great suggestions!! I'm making a shopping list and planning to try the Green and Black. Where's the best place to buy this?
-
Thanks for the suggestions. I do like the Dove Chocolates. I don't have any in the house right now on purpose. Wishful thinking there there is some 10-20 calorie dark chocolate out there.

oh ok. Yea I don't think the hubby would go for powered peanut butter. Hmm homemade peanut butter, might have to attempt that. Wonder if you would store it the same way?
-
What is PB2? My husband just started logging his calories yesterday and he realized the peanut butter calories were way higher than the waffles he adds it to in the am.

I would be interested to know this too. I was using Wheat Thins with my hummus until I realized how many calories I wasted. Changed to raw veggies with my hummus but it's just not the same as a cracker.

I am just starting but my calorie goal is 1200. I pretty much use 200-300 per meal so far and more at dinner at times. I snack lots through out the day. My fave low calorie snacks are raw veggies and hummus, snack size popcorn, beef jerky, light mini babybel cheese. For breakfast I have a Zone bar and this has been my go…
