There are tons of hairstyles for natural hair. I usually wear a puff or a bun and leave it at that. Sometimes I'll twist it. Like a few other ladies have said, don't let your hair get in the way. There are way too many alternatives to let it resort to that. Try you tube as well. That's where I learned most of my styles…

Patience, and not overwhelming myself with the tons of information out there regarding diet and exercise.

I learned that I need to eat full meals three times a day in order to get the cravings in check. I have always been a grazer, so I'll eat some cookies, then some pretzels, then some chips and it just goes on and on; while PMSing it's so much worse. When I'm feeling "snacky" it's usually around the time I need to eat, so I…

Sounds like you have it work out then? I'm not really certain what you're seeking advice for...

Exactly. I also have inner ear problems, and it feels like the world is spinning when it's acting up; I get nauseous, fall down, the whole ball of wax. If I'm having a mild episode, I will walk on the treadmill, and if I feel my balance going off I have something to hold onto; at least I'm still doing what I have to. Now,…

Geesh. I've had people make those types of threats, 'If you don't log on for X amount of days, I'm deleting you!' Or, 'If you're eating too little/too much/too much junk I'm deleting you!' I actually shut down my old MFP account and started anew without all the added pressure. I am looking for normal, middle-of-the-road…

Maybe some other moms can chime in, but I had to wait until I was done.

What's the correct definition? Definition of BINGE 1 a : a drunken revel : spree b : an unrestrained and often excessive indulgence <a buying binge> c : an act of excessive or compulsive consumption (as of food) This is what I think of when I think of the word binge.

You are not alone! I'm 36, so I'll say these outrageous carb craving started kicking in with the birth of my last child when I was 31. I too noticed my carb cravings when I tried to change my diet. I can say that some months are worse than others, and B vitamins, magnesium and chromium do help....a bit. Like you, junk…

Being able to run without wanting to cry. Jumping with both feet off the ground. Being able to squat or kneel down without having to roll over on all fours to get up. Seeing my collar bone for the first time in about 6 years. Waking up in the morning and actually waking up. It used to take so long for me to get it together.

I enlisted in the Army when I was smoker; talk about mean! Thankfully, I quit about 7 years ago. You can add me if you would like!

Or looking around the room while still latched on tight. That really hurts!

Hi there, I'm not quite in my 40's (I'll be 37 this year) but I can relate. Losing weight has become so much more difficult since I've gotten older. I was just talking about this with a friend last night. It's not easy, but can be done! You can add me if you would like.

Shoveled my elderly neighbor's sidewalks X 2. Did everything I said I was going to do today even though I DID NOT feel like it.

Every year! But mine aren't complicated so...

YOu can add me!

Hi there! You (or anyone) can add me. I log my food and workout five days a week, although I have scaled back from trying to kill myself with these workouts (this isn't my first time at the rodeo). My husband has recently become unemployed, and I work at home, soooo eating has become a favorite pass time for each of us. My…

I'm tall too. Feel free to add me as well :-)
