  • Yes-I'm down from a size 18-20 to a size 8-10 and I still think I'm fat when I look in the mirror. I think we've just gotten so conditioned from years of being heavier that no matter how much we lose we have that self critical attitude of I'm still heavy. It's hard to lose that attitude sometimes.

  • You're right-one of the first symptoms of dehydration is headache so especially in the summer here in Arizona it's easy to dehydrate because it's so dry you don't even know you're sweating! I think it could be a combination of not enough water and artificial sweeteners causing the headaches.
  • I know what you mean and Billy Blank has been around for years and his workouts still work. I have one of his DVD's at home and try to do it twice a week along with my Biggest Loser DVD's. I go to a boxing gym and I like his workouts because they incorporate the punching and footwork into the workout.

  • You go girl! Before you know it the size 8 will slip on with no tugging or breath holding. I've been on my journey since last year and I know how hard it is but it is so worth the effort.
  • Me too! Try just any exercise that will tone your legs. I lay on my back with 5lb ankle weights and do leg lifts, butterflies along with walking. Good luck!

  • I agree--it just might be a matter of building muscle. You might put on a few pounds while doing weight training but it's muscle weight. Muscles require more calories to maintain so the more muscle you have even at rest your body's metabolism will be elevated.
