Just staying on track. I lost over 40 pounds a year ago and gained it all back plus more. I started my journey over again 3 days ago. I've been really fighting the urge to binge. So far I've managed to overcome the feeling. My goal is to get through this first week successfully. For me the first week is the hardest.

Be careful lowering your protein!! I tried that and my hair started falling out because it was too low.

I definitely eat enough calories. The low protein makes sense though... I did lower my protein macros because I read if they are too high it can cause insulin spikes. I'll make it higher and eat more protein and see if that helps. Thanks :)

Keto for me too. I have my macros set at 80% Fat, 15% Protein, 5% Carbs. My body responds better that way.

I plan on sticking to keto foods only during holidays. My family always has cookouts and parties and so far I've done very well staying away from carbie foods. Practice of will power I guess lol. I'm going to make a low carb dish and bring it so I know Ill have a side that I definitely be able to eat.

What she said! To me measuring is a better way to see your progress. Especially if you are hitting the gym. You could be losing fat but gaining muscle.

My epic fail was making my own egg drop soup. I sounds easy enough but I made it SO salty that I couldn't even stomach it. After the salty broth, soy sauce, and adding actual table salt.. I might as well of just poured nothing but salt in a bowl and ate that plain :D
