Pepperidge Farm Pumpernickel sticks.

Dannon had a greek yogurt ranch dip that I loved.

I haven't seen it either.

I bought the almond breeze yellow carton almond/cashew milk blend, says Creamy! on carton. But it isn't. Same taste and consistency as the regular almond milk they have. The didn't see the creamer at the store I was in, but I doubt I will spend the $$ on it.

Egg white omelet with canadian bacon (20 cals a slice for Jones brand I get at Costco), mushrooms, onions and spinach. You can have a pretty decent size breakfast for 250 calories.

Did you ever see something called Kim's Magic Pop at the store? Kind of like a tortilla sized air puffed disc. About 15 calories. Good for dipping in small amount of hummus or spread some whipped pb on it. Decent size snack for about 100 calories. Also those tea biscuits are pretty low. Nice with tea or coffee. Red pepper…

Quinoa - tried two varieties, both bothered my stomach Avocado - texture is awful and taste is weird So for some of the other foods mentioned a lot...I hate regular oatmeal, but in the winter I do like steel cut oats, but just plain, I don't like to add anything sweet to them. Completely different texture and taste than…

Gianelli brand at Wegmans, both hot and mild. I think they may be turkey though. Approx 90 calories a link. Delicious.

There's a good ranch recipe on pinterest that's only 3 ingredients: buttermilk, rf mayo and hidden valley dressing packet. Really low calorie and good. Also, Bolthouse is great. Honey mustard and creamy garlic are my favorites.

Sounds really good!

I have made this same recipe and agree, it's really good!

I make my own ranch dressing from something I saw on Pinterest. Basically it's 1 3/4c rf buttermilk, 1/2c lite mayo, and a packet of hidden valley seasoning and dressing mix. Really good. I second the Bolthouse dressings, honey mustard is my favorite.

Shop Rite Light English Muffins, only 80 calories. Great with a tbsp of JIF Whipped Peanut Butter(70cal).

I love them!! But having that big bag in the house is dangerous for me so I don't buy them anymore!
-
This recipe looks like it would make way more than 8 cups. Maybe there was a typo.

This isn't exactly what you were looking for as far as unnecessary ingredients, but if anyone is looking for tasty low calorie options, this is for you...Ranch dressing...one packet Hidden Valley seasoning/dressing mix (not the party dip), 1 3/4 cup reduced fat buttermilk (mine has been 110-120 cals per cup, so abot 200 to…

I just made a dressing I saw on pinterest and love it. It's the Hidden Valley dry dressing/seasoning mix, 1 3/4c buttermilk, 1/2 light mayo. I also sometimes add a little red wine vinegar to it at time of serving.

I am going to try that hummus in tuna idea. Thanks!

I would love to see some volumetric type recipies...there are days that you just need a larger amount of food while still watching calorie counts.

Thanks for sharing, looks really good!

Egg white omelette with canadian bacon, mushrooms and onions. Stir fry - tons of veggies with some chicken or shrimp (skip the rice). Baked fish (tilapia or flounder) with roasted veggies. Chicken, shrimp or turkey sausage and vegetables cooked and then add a small can of plain tomato sauce to it and season. Salad with…

Best tip is to log food and stay with in your calories. I think the tricks come into play to try to make lower calorie, tasty and filling meals. For me it's substituting vegetables for pasta. Luckily I don't love pasta. I do love sauce though. So I just make whatever kind of sauce I want and add meat or shrimp and then add…

I only use broccoli, red onion and bacon in mine. I use regular mayo, vinegar and splenda for the dressing.

I will cook a protein (chicken, fish, shrimp, turkey sausage) in pam spray. Then add a vegetable (broccoli, cauliflower, string beans, zucchini) and a small can of plain tomato sauce. I add lots of spices (garlic and onion powder, oregano, rosemary) and a little water. Sometimes I add chopped fresh garlic when I cook the…

A pickle will make that craving go away, at least it works for me.

Chicken, turkey sausage or shrimp, non-starch vegetables and a can of plain tomato sauce. Add your own spices. My favorite veggies include cauliflower, zucchini, string beans or broccoli. Seasonings: hot pepper, rosemary, oregano, basil. I cook the protein first then add the rest. I add water to the sauce.

Maybe don't link it with Fitbit? And then just put exercise in the notes section rather than logging it if you still want to have a record of it.

Have you tried them roasted? Pretty much any vegetable is tasty this way. Just use some oil or pam spray and whatever spices you like. Carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, anything. A couple months ago we tried a warm shredded brussel sprout/kale bacon salad that is really good, I've made probably 8 times already. My 14 year…
