Bump for inspiration later. Those I've seen so far look fantastic!

Hi there everyone! I will post tomorrow with my stats and goals as Friday is my weigh-in day. When is the end date of the challenge? June 20th/21st? Feel free to add me, not that I know what that does as I'm fairly new to MFP. I, like many others, will not be sticking to the plan 100%. My exercise is as follows: Yoga class…

I'm up 3 pounds, but look smaller (confirmed by my partner). It's day 8 of 30DS, level 1, so that could be it. I'm not worried as I feel and look smaller. Also TOM is next week, so that could be another factor. I've been feeling weak, drained and exhausted all day today, and upped my calories (actually ate back my exercise…

I'm reading this one at the moment: http://www.amazon.com/Dialectical-Behavior-Therapy-Workbook-Bulimia/dp/1572246197/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363744068&sr=8-1&keywords=dbt+for+bulimia Already read this:…

I find it really difficult still, after reading one DBT book. I think doing the exercises (especially the behavioral chains) and then comparing the different chains has been really useful for me. Until I had three chains to compare, I never realised that I got anything positive out of my binge episodes as the negative…

Interesting, I've been wondering the same thing. Re: weight loss/fat burning exercising on an empty stomach.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take some time off til it gets better and avoid using my shoulder.

I know the difference between muscular ache/burn and when I've pulled something.

Thank you!

Girls who come in with a full face of make up, and very little clothing, and do very little exercise. Gets me every time. A guy at my gym does everything backwards (stairmaster, elliptical, treadmill) and I'm not talking normal backwards to work all muscle groups, I mean totally wacky movements that make no sense…

Hi there, Height: 6'1 HW: 250 [113kgs] (round about, can't remember as it was a few years ago) CW: 192 [87 kgs] (probably more... I haven't weighed for a while. Denial.) GW for this group: 172 [78kgs] (by May 18th) Long term GW: under 154 [70 kgs], about 150 [68kgs] I seem to stall every 20 lbs or so. So this will be a…

I'm trying to keep calories around 1200 (clean eating, gluten free), doing 30 day shred (on day 5 of level 1) and also hitting the gym occasionally (less since I started the exercise video though...), and going to yoga class 3 times a week (the other days I do yoga at home), and pilates 3 - 4 times a week. I'm hoping to…

L1D2 done. Feeling it in my thighs and shoulders! Took pics today.

Count me in and feel free to add me. I'd like to lose 30lbs, but 20lbs by end of April would be great.

I was doing really well today (not wanting to binge, low cravings), til I read this thread. Note to self: must not remind myself of all those trigger foods. I can tell I'm going to spend the rest of the evening staving off a binge. Nooooooo. I hope I get through. Trigger foods for me: - Chocolate (even dark) - Peanut M&M…

Even better than CBT is DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) for Binge Eating and Bulimia Nervosa. I've tried everything (minus OA), with therapists, and finally I've found a therapist with a good fit, and she recommended this therapy. There are a couple of books you can get (just search DBT for BED and BN in amazon - the…

Finally got round to starting today. Not as bad as I was expecting. I can already feel it though! I have to do modified push-ups (hopefully by the end I'll be able to do the full version). I'm continuing to go to the gym most days of the week, do yoga class twice a week (and 45 mins on the days I don't go to class), and…

I'm starting it tomorrow. Not sure what I'm letting myself in for, but everyone raves about it!

It takes an average of 66 days to form a habit. The 21 day thing is a myth. It can take less, but it can take longer too.

I'm 6'1 and aiming to get to 165lbs, then maybe a little lower depending on how I look and feel in a bikini. About 30lbs to go.

I'm 26, 6'1. Aiming to get down to 165 lbs. First goal is 178lbs, then 165lbs, see how that feels. Maybe a little less. It's nice to find other girls with similar goals!
