I think I'm an apple. I carry all of my weight in my mid section. My profile picture is my before at 166 and my current at 152. I still need to lose about 17 lbs, but it's progress.0

A little update. Bottom pics were taken this morning. That's me, holding up the pants i'm wearing in the top pic.

Wow, you look great, even a little bit younger.0 -
Work in progress.. Sorry you can't see the after shot of my tummy that well, but it definitely has a different jiggle to it these days. Not as ocean wavy, more stuck to my body, if that makes any sense. I didn't start going hard until my first Zumba class which was February 2nd. After the new year, I was going to the gym, but not doing real high intensity.. I joined MFP to make sure I was fueling my body correctly about 36 days ago. I started strong lifts 5x5, and I'm in my second week of that, and loving it!1 -

Here's me so far. I think my belly is going to hang on, kicking and screaming, till the bitter end. But ya know? I'm already happy with my results. These last 25 pounds are going to be gravy!

Sometimes I feel like a pineapple from head to toe. I'm sure I'm an apple. I gain in my whole mid section and upper arms. It's also the last to go. I can't wait until I have some awesome before/after pics to post. Right now I am camera shy.
Everyone who posted pics looks amazing. This has been inspiring.0 -
I gain all in the stomach/boobs/upper arms too. I called it my "Koolaid man" look. LOL
5'7 (before picture weight was 159...size 10 pant size large shirt..... and after pic was 133 (size 6 pant and size small shirt) currently 130 now. Excuse my dirty mirror, haha!
From one apple-shaped Desiree to another....you look FABULOUS!0 -

top photos are from 2008-ish bottom photos are 2011- pre-weight lifting so i am lacking in the muscle area. Now that i lift, i am only 5 lbs lighter than i was in the top photos.

Apple shape is a person who carries their weight up top like shoulders are broad and hips are narrow or non ex distant. Apples are often refers to as shaped like a man. Your not an apple. I just don't see it.
I'm not shaped like a fruit. I'm more like a coke bottle.1 -
I've lost 85 pounds over the past year. When I lose weight, I lose it EVERYWHERE except my stomach... My legs are thin, my arms are thin, I have no butt. I weigh 136 now (5'6") and I still feel that I'm fat because I still do have the belly. It's shrunk -- but it's still there. I'm not sure that I can lose it.
Here is a picture taken about a year ago. I was good at hiding my stomach...
This is a picture of me about a month ago at a wedding. Like lady_jessi, I look good in clothes and feel that I have lost enough weight but when I take them off -- not so anymore. -- sorry about the squinting....
you look amazing! congrats!0 -
way to go!0
