Hi, If you open your diary, we could have a look & see if we can help you where to add cals....I am very similar to you always trying to add more & I have found adding nuts/seeds/avocado has really helped, but be careful not to overdo the nuts. I don't know what type of foods you eat, but I would suggest kicking out any…

This week I have a week away from work, so I will be increasing my dog walks and my hubby & I are uplifting our patio & re-laying it (it was an awful mess, due to restricted finances, we cannot afford to have someone come & lay a new one, so we are re-doing the work ourselves). I just wish we hadn't picked the hottest week…

Hi Val, My names Jan, I have been on MFP for about 3 weeks now (previously lost 42lbs) and now have the last 10-14lbs to go. I'm 43 and like you have tried many diets many times before, but this site has been really helpful in teaching me how to make this fit in with life rather than fit your life around a diet. Very happy…

Hi Amanda, Just thought I would let you know that I used the link & worked out my BMR/TDEE and the results were not too far away from what I had already calculated BMR 1394 (new calc = 1399) and TDEE 2150 (new calc = 2383). So, I have been increasing my cals over the last week, some days are easier than others. I last…

Thanks Arkhos, I may look in to that & give my local Holland & barratt a visit. It can't do me any harm to try it, it may give me extra energy & some extra calories :-) Thanks again J x
