I'm 5'7 and weigh 158 lbs. I want to be 140 lbs by Spring. My official start date is on Sunday, but I'm making some changes to my diet now. Feel free to add me!

I'll definitely ask him about it. Thanks!

Thanks so much everyone! I'll definitely try focusing on tightening up my diet and weighing myself less to start. I feel so much better knowing that I'm not the only one who's been down this road and that it's possible to get off of it :)

Thanks guys! This will definitely be a way for me to build self control and prove to myself that I'm not the "old me" anymore.

There are a lot of compound lifts in CLX, so that's great to hear! Once I lose more body fat I'll start adding in more ab work.

I would love to go cold turkey, but after work all I want to do is relax in front of the tv which equals mindless eating :(

I love quest bars. I eat one everyday and they're the only bar that actually keeps me full. Highly recommend all of the flavors, especially the cookie dough which is my personal fav!

That's a great idea too. I just realized I hadn't forgiven myself so maybe the guilt I felt was leading to more overeating. I forgave myself today and I feel better all ready!

That's a great idea! I could try doing doubles in the evening to add some calories. Fingers crossed that that doesn't backfire and make me hungrier!

I'm okay with my body now, but I wouldn't mind toning more. But I am kinda obsessed with the number on the scale. I'm definitely not burning that much so I don't understand how my weight loss can speed up like that. thank you for your help. I'll try keeping my calories around 1600 until I reach goal and then slowly…

When I ate 1500-1600 calories, I was losing 2-3 lbs. per week. Then I had a rough week were my diet was terrible (2000-2100 calories per day) and I lost .4 pounds.

These are great ideas...bump

Thanks again for the extra push :) Motivation restored!

Dido...food choices are so important in weight loss. I had the same problem. I worked out 6 days a week (strength and cardio), but the scale wouldn't budge. Sometimes it would even go up. I felt like I was working out so hard that I could eat more or that my body needed more calories to "fuel" my workouts. Negative. So, I…

I love Teen Mom...guilty. I feel sorry for her. She had a terrible upbringing and her life now is in shambles. Kieffer is no good. I'm just in shock over Kaitlyn though. I think she's just marrying that poor boy to get back at Joe!

Based on the fact that I spent a lot of money on it and it had great reviews. But maybe you are right; the HRM could definitely be a bust. I’ll just stick to what works (eating less and working hard). Thanks again for your insight!

Thanks for all of the responses! It’s very interesting reading everyone’s point of view. @meshashesha20 I have been losing inches and I can fit into all of my pre-pregnancy clothes. My measurements and body fat percentage match my 134 lb. weight (I’ve kept logs of my weight for years). I’m definitely more toned but I…
