Thats the thing.....I've been at this for about 2 1/2 years now. I began my journey at the same time as moving away from home to Asia. So it's taken a while to get in the groove of what is available and what isn't and even having a kitchen in order to cook my new healthier meals. So I feel like I should be a little more…

Glad to know I am not the only one. It seemed to be following a pattern, like I'd "gain" for a few days and the go back to normal, so figured it wasn't a problem.

My diary is open. I generally eat pretty well, but usually the same things. Being in Asia, I don't get the variety that I would back home.

Thanks!

that makes sense! Thanks for the info. :)

During my hikes I eat things that store well in my pack, nuts, dried fruit, peanut butter and bagels. But I always buy things that are no added sugar salt. I try to drink a ton of water too. For example, yesterday I drank about 5 large bottles of water in the day and 2 more when I returned home. But last night I did eat a…

The ones that bug me the most are when I was in my plateau......I was chatting with someone and they said "maybe you just CAN'T lose anymore...that happens"! Well I've lost about 30 pounds since then with just switching up my diet and exercise routine.

I love your spirit! I haven't dealt with a 10th of the s*** thrown at you and it is so inspiring that you haven't let you spiral! Good on you and have an amazing, fantastic, wonderful, crazy, joyous birthday! YOU DESERVE IT!:flowerforyou:

I tried many things, but my diary should be open. I try to keep my cals around 1300-1500 per day unless I am hiking which I will do on Saturday. Other than that I run in the mornings around 3 days/week when the weather is nice (which it is beginning to be again) and weight train about 3 days per week. Also I do some HIIT…

This has been a long journey for me. I really started trying in fall 2011, but at the same time moved from the states to Asia so had to deal with no kitchen, no unhealthy convenience foods, and generally not being able to eat the way I wanted. Last year I worked out about 4 days/week but didn't lose a single pound! This…

ok here we go again. I actually found some close ups of my face from a while back which didn't happen too often lol. Before: During: Now (but still not done):

Well I have no plans to talk to my ex husband and no ex boyfriends since then. This has been ME time. Soon though I plan to really get back in the field for dating, once I get out of Asia. :D

When I started needing size 20 pants and getting winded walking more than a few blocks. It was mortifying because I am not even 30!
-
hahahhahahaha thanks! Almost where I want to be :) Although sometimes I wonder if people from my past would recognize me now.
-
hahhaahhaa Thanks! Everyone I knew said that I had a "cute baby" face before. Now I look at it and think I just had a round pie face lol. But my friends and family would never have been so cruel lol.

You look great! I am about where you are as well. I have recently reached the 75 lb milestone and am 5'2", but I have about 20-25 pounds to go. :D Fantastic work!

Thanks a lot! Wow I haven't checked this post in a week, and have received many more comments. So thank you!

I always eat snacks like hard boiled eggs. Sometimes just the whites and sometimes the whole egg. yummy and high in protein.
-
Thanks! I just took a peek at your photos and you can definitely see a huge difference! Fantastic :)

Heavy sauces like gravy or pre-prepped alfredo. I'd rather make my own homemade sauces that are low cal and taste pretty good. Or I just use natural herbs and seasonings for my food.

Thanks, I've learned that slow and steady wins the race with weight loss, but I am hoping to reach goal by the end of summer! :D

5'2 and a little change lol. As of today I am 75 pounds down of my SW of 225 which puts me at 15. My GW is 130 and then I will see where from there I want to go. I've always been overweight since about 9-10, so I don't really know WHERE I should be. :D I just know I am not there yet. :p

water sports and aerobics are low impact so you don't need to put pressure on your ankle. I have a weak ankle as well just from multiple tiny sprains that always happen on the same foot lol. But for now you need to focus on what comes in your body. I worked out all the time but didn't have a kitchen last year. I didn't…

yes......down is the plan! :D

Thanks everyone! It is a great feeling knowing that I will enter my 30th year in the best shape I've ever been in. :)

that isn't a bad idea. My roommate's girlfriend has decent English so maybe she can help me translate. Thanks!

ok I haven't tried this and I have no clue if scientifically it helps, but I have heard this from my trainer. After you work out and you are in the shower if you really massage/scrub these problem areas it help increase blood flow to lower areas of fat where she says cellulite is a bigger problem. This doesn't make you…
