1200 calories is way too low....especially with the amount of cardio you are doing... Yes one higher calorie meal a week will help your metabolism, only if you metabolism is healthy to begin with......you should figure out what calories you require to maintain your daily activites and eat them! The running alone will put…

Sorry but you burn carbs during exercise not protein, for energy anyways...protein is broken down for muscle growth and repair... Correct on the long term negative effect on low balling the calories..

I take it, pre and post workout...no side effects and noticeable improvement in gains visually verses when I didn't take it. P.s. it will take more than 5 days to see a noticeable difference either way

I have commented on one or two MFP's on their diary especially if they constantly ask for my help, or ask me why they aren't losing, but I stopped, cuz they didn't use my input at all...frustrating...I actually rarely read or comment on anything anymore, ppl are too damn sensitive...and if you are using a program like this…

Anything with wheat, broccoli or milk will do that to me........so I avoid those foods for that very reason...

The peanut butter (if all natural as u say) wouldn't hinder weight loss depending on quantity and frequency, chances are it's the bread that has more of an affect on prevent fat loss. Try Pb on plain rice cakes instead before a workout.

I agree with some statements about weight loss works different for different ppl, the key is to try different things. I have a story. My mother has suffered from thyroid disease for over 25yrs, and her doctor at the time told her that because she would have to work twice as hard and eat half as much to lose weight as the…

I have had 3 sections, first was 16 yrs ago, the last was 3 yrs ago....I have never been able to get rid completely, but that is because I have loose skin, no elasticity, this is a bit different then weak muscles and fat in that area with women who have had sections but have elasticity ....Depends on what your issue is. I…

This can be very confusing...I don't go by MFP setting to be honest, I set my own. At ur height and weight and activity level 1500 should be fine for weight loss, but don't do it too long (12 weeks max), change it up...if after 2 weeks at this count, and no loss, trying adding more, everyone is different so it will be abit…

^^^ this...food is key....I am a pear and saddlebags are the last to go, but food is what I found to work best to reduce cellulite in this area..and unfortunately it's the first to come back as well...

I have read this twice and honestly I don't think your obsessed in the bad way....this sort of lifestyle, is just that a lifestyle and it takes, time, commitment and focus. What I and many others who embark on this path find is that it becomes a passion, the learning, the challenges, seeing your body transform and the way…

Most fitness trainers in your area or your local gym are trained in using calipers and own their own. They usually charge a nominal fee for their time to check. Ask around.

I also agree....slow and steady...it took me 3 yrs to lose 60lbs...now that is SLOW!

In my opinion night time eating along doesn't sabotage weight loss, if anything it helps, the idea is to keep the metabolism moving...."what" your eating is the culprit here and in most cases...are you getting enough calories thru the day? This may be part of the reason you're waking hungry..I eat every 2-3 hrs, day and…

Adjust your diet a bit, lower sodium and carbs, increase protein, take in lots of water, eat every 2-3 hrs a complete meal, complex carb, lean protein, and veggies, eliminate sugars and processed foods (incl sauces and condiments). Check in two weeks time.

I usually don't respond to forums, because it always becomes a battle of who knows best, ideally no one on here is an expert, even dieticians and doctors dont know all there is to know about nutrition and fat loss...so everyone's "advice" take with a grain of salt, including mine, these are opinions only and most likely…
