This is 50 plus the bar of course and I've been cranking out 5 reps as opposed to 3 recently . I feel incredibly weak now though so thanks for that !

So I'm a bit confused. Are strong lifts ok? I know it's to build muscle ,but I probably don't have much muscle yet since I just started weight training about 6 weeks ago?

I'm confused about this is as well. I am 5'8 and 215 pounds. Probably about 30 pounds overweight? Give or take. My tdee was like 2675 and bmr was around 1975. So I still need to eat 1975 calories if I'm trying to lose weight ? (I'm lifting and doing cardio) I know weight loss is not instant but this still seems like a high…

Count me in! Currently about 210-212 with a goal weight of 175. Been doing mostly cardio but going to add weight training this evening. Any advice for a novice weight lifter (male ) would be much appreciated!! ;)

This. "Slow and steady " I've tried all these so called diets over the years. Sometimes I would loose a couple pounds but would be miserable and gain it right back a week later. Eat healt, modest portions and excerise. The success I'm seeing now is so much better cause I actually Feel good.
