I'm looking for friends too! Feel free to add me. I'm 25, living in Houston Texas as a night shift RN, training for a half marathon in march, and wanting to lose some stubborn pounds!

Tjfharo thanks so much for posting that! That sounds like a really smart/healthy schedule, I'm going to give something like that a try! It really does take a lot of dedication when you're on night shift, but totally doable with the right attitude. You don't put cream in your coffee?? Ugh I tried black but it ruins the…

Hi there! I took a 6 month break from MFP too and am now back. I'm 25, work as an oncology RN (night shift unfortunately) and it's been hard to work out and eat as healthy as I'd like. Trying to make some good changes! Would love to have some new friends! :)

That's an amazing goal! My husband and I are thinking about trying for a baby in the next 6 months- 1 year, so my goal is not so much to lose weight but to gain healthier eating habits that will make my body stronger and healthier. I don't always get all the food groups in a day, or eat the healthiest snacks when I could.…

Yes... definitely worry. Those horrible symptoms are your body's way of screaming at you to feed it. You can lose weight without feeling like you're going to pass out... that's no way to live! A lot of people on here will chime in about never going below 1200 calories. I would eat that minimum and see how you feel. Good…

Usually in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters women should increase their caloric intake by 300-500 calories a day. So if you have your calorie goal set at 1600 (just an example), you can just change the goal to 1900 or however much you want to increase it by. Your carb, protein, and fat ratios will stay the same and will…

thinking of trying this out too... possibly. I do love my sweet potatoes though :/

PB2 (peanut butter powder) mixed with sugar free syrup. Weird but totally awesome.

Ugh, buzz kill. Maybe it's your attitude that's not working for you?

I like to do a diet coke and rum (Malibu tastes the bests to me!)

I use water too :) I find it annoying that the calorie count on the FT7 is soo much lower than on cardio machines. I wonder why that is?? People say it's more accurate, unfortunately. Haha

Gotcha... that's kind of scary thought to think about eating that much, I've always eaten waaay less than that. (or at least I feel like I gain weight if I eat around that range). Maybe I'll try upping my calories though. Thanks for the help!

gorgeous 9!

@Teliooo- strong confident woman!

I have an FT7 and it doesn't even work properly unless I wash it. But I don't use this washing machine... So I just remove the snap-on thing from the strap and wash the strap with warm water and soap. Always works great after that!

Hm I'm not sure if it's bad but I'm definitely a truvia addict also! I put it in smoothies, coffee, tea, and apples with cinnamon. I thought there was nothing in it but then checked the label and there's actually 3g carbs in each packet. Yikes!

Last week, the female cashier at Subway was named Sukdeep. Yikes...

I have a polar FT7 and really like it, except sometimes it doesn't work well if I've forgotten to wash it with soap and water from the previous time... Also, I've noticed that the calorie burn number is COMPLETELY different on the heart rate monitor than it is on an exercise machine. For example, I worked out for 30…
