I agree with a previous reply about eating at tdee rather than the 1200 cals MFP suggested for me I tried this last year and after two weeks had enough as I was very hungry and couldn't stick to it. Hi welcome to MFP I started at 252lbs and after a month I am now 240lbs. I want to get to 170lbs for my wedding in September this year. Hi I don't really do exercise I have a desk job I heard that you could minus 25% off your tdee to lose weight if fairly large however this takes my calories to under my bmr Can I eat under my bmr? So confused

Yes I like walking been for one today and I have downloaded Davian's new DVD so I will give her sessions a go when in hotels as I don't feel comfortable trying swimming as I am so big Thanks

Thanks I will try my calories at 1750 this week and see how I get on and do me bit of exercise but not eat the calories back Fingers crossed this is the way to go but as you say some of it is trial and error

I plan to walk at the weekends and maybe do Zumba once a week but as my job is a desk job and I stay away a lot in hotels it is tricky What calories should I be eating do you think?

Hi Thankyou for your reply I think I over egged my 100lbs target to be honest. I would be happy to be 160lbs by September as that would be amazing but still a big old goal Did you do the tdee - 25% method for your fabulous weight loss. Such an inspiration to know that it can be done X
