This is my NSV for today! <img src="http://i42.tinypic.com/34j82rl.jpg"> I actually lost a glove on the way to the gym but decided to DL anyway. I'd been stuck at 95lbs forever because I'd jerk the bar w my arms whenever it was heavier than that and didn't want to risk back injury from poor form. Today I did 135lbs easily.…

I like Whole Foods' 365 Whey Protein Powder. It's 80cal per serving and blends well because it's super fine. I grab the random protein shakes at Trader Joe's sometimes too (look carefully there's one that's 100 cal and one that's triple that, with nearly the same packaging)

I think it's genetic. I have very, very prominent collar bones--I have never been underweight/on the low end of my height's healthy weight. I also have broad shoulders and a large frame, so I'm thinking it my be my build?

Augh, I've signed up for these groups for the past 2 months and I keep losing/gaining the same couple of pounds! I've only managed to keep 4lbs overall. Here's what you do: SW: 128 CW: 122 GW: 117 (I'm very short.)

This goes against what most people are saying, but I'm currently just trying to eat unprocessed foods/high sodium foods and taking a break from logging because I get overwhelmed whenever I have to log when I'm trying to power through a workload. Maybe taking a break from MFP to clear your mind might get your groove back…

Starting this in the morning since I worked out already/did squats today! I learned that I wasn't breathing correctly for squats and just learned to do them the right way, and it makes SUCH a difference in the abs. This is bodyweight right?

First off, congrats on losing that much weight! I'd be so down if I still lived in the area (I'm from Fremont and my gym was in UC), have you thought about joining something with classes/group work so there's a set schedule?

This times a million. Darn you McDonald's!

Rabbit Run--Eminem Til I Collapse--Eminem (Also really good for lifting. This song gets me pumped to push when I'm about to give in) On to the Next One--Jay Z Give it All--Rise Against Def might not be everyone's cup of tea, but helps me get through workouts.

Happens to me, I have patella tendonitis on both sides so for me it's probably the inflammation that makes my knees heat up faster

I think you'd benefit from seeing a chiropractor. My roommate has scoliosis and her hip gets tight from time to time and causes her a lot of pain sitting OR standing, let alone doing any type of exercise--which is all managed with monthly visits to the chiropractor.

Went over my calories by 3000 today (meaning I consumed over 4000 calories) Where I went wrong: 1. Handmade coconut ice cream--been craving this badly, the ice cream shop almost never has it and so I indulged 2. Combo Thai food--I was starving all day and tired/too lazy to cook 3. Goodies from my parents through the mail…

Me: 5 Binge: 1 (today) :frown:

I'm probably going way way over my calories later today because 1. I just finished 2 midterms and am beat from no sleep 2. Birthday Craving a burger and some fries, or some fried chicken and waffles :drinker:

I'm not that concerned with weight since you could be super dense with muscle, but ideally 115-118lbs with a strong core+more inches on my tush. I haven't been sub 115lbs since I was like..8-9 so I wouldn't aim below that though I think at this height even sub 100 is still healthy (lower end of course)

I have Shock Absorber Bras and some Saucony ones. I'm only a C, but I actually lost half a cup due bad sports bras (too much movement while running hard) so I take no chances!
-
Anyone that has time to judge others at the gym isn't working hard enough on their own workout. Put a pair of earphones in on blast and focus on yourself/your workout.
-
I have severe bi-lateral patella tendonitis and am super quad dominant and exercises I recommend that you could do @ home: hip bridges (1-legged if you can, it's more pressure though), clams with resistance band, crab walk with resistance band. @ the gym I've found Romanian deadlifts to work glutes/hamstrings without being…

I don't think it'd hurt, but in my experience unless the person wants to lose weight/is willing to put in the effort, it doesn't do much. My best friend has gained about 100lbs in the past 4 years and now has sleep apnea. I've suggested a lot of things including MFP but she thinks it's all too much work and just kind of…

I do her workouts whenever I miss the gym for some reason or other, but not on a consistent basis. Def works up a sweat :) If anyone lives in the LA area, she's gonna be @ UCLA this Saturday for a free 2 hr session!

I love this speech, everyone should watch it, it really opens your eyes. Made me really think...my pitfall is that I don't want to succeed enough, it's always "kinda"--I've always been making excuses for myself. Success only comes with sacrifice, hard work and discipline. (Whether it be weight loss or life in general)…

5' 2", currently around 123-125lbs, but I carry most of my weight in my midsection (which I've heard is the worst kind of fat). I'm looking to lose around 5-10lbs, more because I would rather lose fat/build muscle/become stronger rather than just measure myself from the scale.
-
I'm in! I got the consistent working out down pat, I just gotta start eating clean!
-
Bumpin' an old thread. I have pancake *kitten* and will be trying the Butt Bible now...was trying to decide between this and BBL but this has definitely convinced me
-
I went up 4lbs the week before/during shark week, but pretty much as soon as it was over, so were those mysterious pounds. I only started weighing myself within the last few months but it's been pretty recurrent!

Having to suck in to button jeans, then having to worry about the button popping open after you sit down..
-
Added you! I'm new but have been logging in daily :)

MFP gives me 1200, I normally eat 1600-2000+ (I eat exercise calories back!)

I'm guilty of this. I'm still relatively young but I'm far beyond the acceptable age that I like to text with. I think I do it just because it's quick, lighthearted, and still gets the message across. It's just preference. Also, some shortened/often misspelled and informal messages contain a higher ratio of information…
