Glad to see I'm not the only one that screwed up and got a little too cocky with it. I can appreciate the loss much more this time since I've had to work harder for it. I hope people starting out see this and some can avoid the same pitfalls we fell into. Good Luck everyone!

I'm somewhere in between vegetarian and vegan. I'm wearing leather flip flops and I had eggs this morning. I enjoy pushing the limits of vegetarian recipes and I feel like vegan recipes force you to be much more creative when cooking.

Pick an ingredient and YouTube it. Cauliflower, chick peas, black beans, avacado, rice, tofu, kale, tempeh. I think the most benifits come when you give up the processed vegetarian meals. I try new recipes every week multiple times. I get a baseline idea from YouTube and make the recipe mine from there. Just my 2 cents.

I completely agree with it being easy to overeat, but what isn't?

So, If i cut the eggs back to 4 and added cheese, I'd be approaching 400 calories give or take. Using the egg whites and crunchy PNB, and most times I only use 1TBS, I haven't even broke 200. Under 300 with both TBS. So from a calorie standpoint and a feeling full standpoint, it works for me.

I wasn't trying to say that everyone would like it. Not the point. Clearly most of us are here because of horrible eating habits. Trying new things is what this is about for me. I could keep the yolks and fill it with a bag of cheese. Sure it would taste more like an omelette, but than i'd still be a fat *kitten*. So, I…

Dead on. They are making it next to impossible to eat healthy if you buy any of your food.

Vegetable fajiats without the tortillas are very filling and pretty low in calories especially when you skip the cheese and sour cream. Leaves room for a margarita.

Congrats on getting rid of that much weight. I feel that when I lost it fast I didnt appreciate the loss as much as I do now that its slower. Keep at it.

March to aug 2013 was when I had lost it all and kept it off. I slowly started to screw up and then by ealier this year it was all back minus 6 lbs. My biggest mistake was getting off of MFP. I now know I'm not responsible enough to eat without using mfp as an aid.

Look for organic raw protein bars. They seem to be perfect for between meals.

Chick pea flour crust pizza. Sauce and veggies. Doesn't have to have cheese, especially if you use enough garlic and crushed hot peppers.
-
5 egg white omelette with crunchy peanut butter. I wash it down with a hemp powder protein drink mixed with water.
-
Cauliflower pizza crust and cauliflower "hot wings" are both delicious

Thanks

I lost 63 and now I'm only down 10. Hitting the road again with purpose.

Five egg white omelette with two tbs of chunky peanut butter....can't go wrong...beats meat!

Yep, I too screwed up. March 2012 started a 3 month loss of 61lbs. Over the next 18 months I put almost all of it back on. I'm back and not going to screw up this time. I'm already back down 25lbs. I have a hard road ahead, but I'm ready to do it.
