The danger of MFP working.
I wonder how many people are back for a second or third try at this. In 2013 I was way to successful at this. I lost about 65 lbs in 3 months. Then I decided I could slowly go back to my normal ways of eating, drinking, lack of exercising, and most importantly I stopped logging. Within a year I gained it all back. 2015 was…

Egg white omelette with Crunchy Peanut Butter
A go to Breakfast option for me is a 7 eggwhite omelette. Add two table spoons of Crunchy Peanut butter in the place of cheese. I'm full till lunch and I put a dent in my protein requirements for the day.

I've lost the equivalent of....
I'm just shy of 5 gallons of milk. If you were to compare your weight loss to every day items what/how much are you? To be honest this is my second time around on mfp. It is much more difficult the second time. I will appreciate the loss much more and not *kitten* up this time. Now back to losing 1 gallon at a time. Good…

Second time around the block.
So I screwed up the first time after losing 60lbs. Well I've lost over half of it again. My biggest problem is all the extra energy. I used to drag my *kitten* out of bed at 8:30 if I was lucky. Now I wake up at 4:30 or 5 and im working out and having breakfast before the sun comes up. Keep at it people.

Success, Failure, Here I go again.
So two years ago I weighed 296 and even at 6'3" I was a fat *kitten*. I got on MFP and within 3 months I had lost about 63lbs. I felt great, tons of energy, indigestion was gone. I then thought I was in control. I could have cheat days in a row. I was still ok. Then I'd skip a day or two on the elliptical. I was still ok.…

142 days of being a VAGAtarian
I love great food. When I first started on here I thought I was giving that up. Two months after my journey started I realized that I could enjoy amazing food and in a lot of instances even better than before. I gave up meat and have tried so many new wonderful tasting things. When you tear down your food barriers you'll…

65 Days Meat-Free
So when I started 110 days ago on MFP I was very much the meat lover. Fast Food Burgers, Tacos, Cheese Steaks, and Filets, Chicken wings, and Turkey oh my.... My desire to stop eating meat has nothing to do with a political cause, or turning into a tree hugging hipster. It was a source of my over eating binges. While in…

I've platued and I don't care, and this is why...
So I'm coming up on my 110th day. I've lost 58lbs. The way it started falling off at the beginning I thought I'd be at my goal weight by now. I have another 40ish to go. Over the last few weeks the weight loss hasn't done much. I don't care though. I love the way I'm eating now. I have the occasional french fry or…

Memorial Day BBQ's
So, this is my first Summer Holiday that usually involves tons of food and plenty of beer to wash it down. This year is going to be different. I'm no longer eating meat, so that will probably help somewhat on my food calories. My plan to make sure I don't screw up my progress will be simple. Stick to what has been working.…

Coach Potato to 90 Mins on the Elliptical in 68days
I guess I'm kind of patting myself on the back right now. 68 days ago I was fat and lazy, unmotivated, and in poor health. High BP and I'm sure on my way to Cholesterol meds. Everything ached. I'm in my mid 30s 6'3" and I was facing the real possibility that I was going to see 300lbs. I weighed in at 296. Sitting in a bar…

Bored with the Elliptical
So I'm only about a month and a half in on my journey. I have a couple bad discs in my back so jogging outside is really out of the question. Tonight as i was on the elliptical I added the arm motion from jumping jacks. Do for a minute, then take a break, repeat. I figure not only am I burning more calories, but it's got…
