  • I use Glucosimine, but I'm very interested in Antler Velvet (Deer or Elk). I've read that it helps in similar ways to Glucosimine. It's traditional Chinese medicine used for over 2,000 years. It is supposed to have the same benefits of Glucosimine and the animal does not have to be terminated to produce it since the…
  • No one said that all movements in Crossfit programming are 100% Crossfit originated and designed... It'd be rediculous to state that Greg Glassman created the squat or push-up, HIIT, cross-training, ect. Crossfit is it's own methodology just like Wendler 5 3 1, Westside, The 5 x 5 Program, Upper Lower Split Training, P90X,…
  • That's really surprising to hear that you didn't really get too much leg work in Crossfit. It sounds like your coach seriously neglected some of the major Crossfit movements. Almost all of the barbell work, especially the two Olympic Lifts and Deadlifts, are majorly leg focused. Since starting Crossfit, I don't know if…
  • I'm not a pro and there is some great advise in here. I bought a 2010 Cannondale CAAD9 and it's done me quite well! I've put a little over 400 miles on it since January. I started out riding about 8-10 miles, than 20, 30, 40 and now 50+! The bike is now about 50 lbs lighter, wait... that's me! This is my first "real" road…
  • I'm on week 11! When I started, I could honestly say that I thought I'd never get here! Two more weeks til I'm done with my first full 90! I've lost 52 lbs now. It's all about lifestyle change. I changed my eating habits Jan 17th when I started here on MFP and have been fine tuning ever since. P90X started about two or…

  • I came across another post of yours and was wondering about the dress! It all makes sense now. You look great! Congrats!
  • Great explination. That helps me a lot. Congrats to the OP, you look great!
  • This is hilarious! I won't admit it anywhere but here... but I keep touching my biceps! lol. They've never been this big in my life! (Thank you Tony Horton!). My abs as well. I still have a good layer of "love" on them, but they can't wait til I burn it off to show my abs that are hiding under there!
  • Nice work! I'm guessing the little guy was some solid motivation as well. I know that's what got my @$$ in gear and ready to lose weight. I hope to be where your at in about 6 mos, but definitely by year end. Thanks for providing some extra motivation!
  • Well said and congrats!
  • Also, you could walk circles around your classroom all day and catch all those kiddies cheating! :Just a suggestion: :)
  • I ride a Canondale CAAD9. I started off, not knowing how to shift gears and with the wrong shorts. I've come a long way in a few weeks. I'm getting better and better though. Keep riding!
  • Wow, thank you all for the awesome replies and kind words of encouragement. We all have goals that are relative to our current situation. I worked hard to get the body that I had this past Jan. It took me 10 years to get that big! :) Either way, you will reach your goals! The only person who can keep you from getting there…
  • I hope that I can wear a "L" sized shirt some day. i can't remember the last time I wore anything that didn't have an "X" prefix. As a guy, it's crazy when you can't find anything in stores that fits comfortably. You really need to adjust your style to fit "whatever they make in XXL or XXXL". Hell, maybe some day I'll even…
  • I have a similar story to yours... my son is my inspiration! I'm just starting my journey, but wanted to congratulate you on your success! it's all worth it to enjoy a long life with that little one!
  • Can I get a copy of the pamphlet too? Send to my wife at kimabitia@gmail.com Thank You!
