I'm in for 50 this month. Might be difficult with TRX three times a week, but I will get there!

I can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing. My life is 100% amazing and beautiful and fulfilling now. Any changes, no matter how small, in the years leading up to that could have lead to something different. Don't wish for changes in past behaviors. Make changes in your current behaviors if you are unhappy.

^^ This. If you are having a second full serving of the meal you would need to log that meal. If you logged a full serving the first night and had 1/3 left over that you ate the next day I guess you wouldn't necessarily need to log that if you already did the night before. I find it far more helpful (as far as accuracy and…

I agree that it is important for weight loss to eat at a deficit, BUT regular exercise has so many other health benefits. Even when I suck at keeping my calories in check I still go to the gym. It keeps the habit alive, minimizes the damage I could be doing and helps keep my heart and lungs active. I encourage all forms of…

I've seen and shared this multiple times on FB. I think it is worth the read everytime! For aunts, cousins, sisters, mothers, grandmothers, friends and everyone who encounters a little person. Start young and never let up.

I am uncrushable because I have seen what happens when you let someone crush you. I have looked out from inside the box while the walls closed in and I was sure I would be crushed forever and soon forgotten. I am uncrushable because I broke through that box and it's iron bars. I crushed it before it crushed me. I am…

Useless excuses and BS... oh, and excess calories.

The fact that there is one opening a mere 45 minutes away. I'd drive that all day long for a Burrito Bowl.

Nice job! I completed my first half Sunday as well and I ran 2:23:45 with a brief veer off into the woods to pee! :D We would have been great running buddies with near identical pace!

Coffee.

I end up having to stop and pee when I have not stayed properly hydrated in the days leading up to a long run. I try and get a lot of water in that morning or the day I am running and it goes right through me. I have also peed myself on multiple occassions during races - I'm told this is exclusive to women as a problem…

Maine! :)

Did you get the regular 6 or the Plus? I specifically avoided the Plus because I couldn't imagine how I'd ever run with it! #runnerproblems :#

True ^^ Why was that necessary. I knew right then I was wasting my time reading any further, because... rude.

I was happy to read this thread until you turned on those trying to help you. I'm out.

I noticed in the article I read that there was someone else who broke the previous standing record, but it was in the Boston Marathon and didn't count. I haven't googled it to find out why. Does anyone want to shed some light on the reasons the Boston course wouldn't be eligible for an official world record?

MDI Half Marathon 10/19 - my first!

I have hopped in on this! I am running mileage WAY below you guys, but I am hopeful! I have found distance running to be my new love.

I ran my first 10K race Saturday. I was shooting for 1:08 as I feel most comfortable running at an 11:11 pace for my over 5 mile runs. I saw the time clock at 1:03:55 when i was coming down the hill toward the finish. I really thought I had nothing left and I kicked it up to finish at 1:03:59! I was so excited  I am…

You missed the point. I've been up for over four hours and I still find your post to be offensive and ridiculous.
