Losing fat/losing weight is not the same thing. Take this example from someone who lost over 80 lbs. I began by eating 600 calories a day. I did no exercise. I lost a lot of weight (fat and muscle). Usual loss was around 4-6 lbs a week. Now I am eating 2700 calories a day. I exercise every day for 2-3 hours. I lose a…

Guts are also lean muscle then?

Your diet, my friend, is a nightmare. It consists entirely of sweet drinks and processed foods. I am sure you know that, but eating like that you will not lose weight/cholesterol, etc.
-
Cheers :)
-
Of course :)

4 months in total :) Thanks to all.

I do eat a bit of sodium, however I don't eat any processed food at all. In fact, all of my food is fresh and most of it is even raw. I did read all of that link and it seems to make sense, however I am yet to understand how eating more leads to less weight.

This is making me upset a lot. So if I am not eating even that, but gaining weight...? How is this even possible!
-
Based on that calculator even with sedentary lifestyle I should be eating 2.700 calories No way this could be right?
-
Also, for the first time in 4 months I had some grains in last 3 days. I baked something out of oatmeal, ground apples and stevia powder (no fats no sugars). Could it be the damned oats?

I am on 1.600-1.700 calories since last week. I used to be on 600 calories but I stopped that and slowly increased it up to where I am now. I spend 2 hours in gym daily. 1 hour cardio, 1 hour weights.

Thanks lol. Every1 keeps telling me to dress like a man now but I still cant get out of teenager clothes :p
-
Oh yes, there are little pecs under my tits already :)
-
I lost my first 50 pounds at a 600 calorie diet, so I know exactly what you mean. Thanks all.

I used to have a BIG gut, as you can see from the picture. I don't think it can tighten up. And I don't want it to look like a giant *kitten*. I have two of those already.

I am talking. Here. I have received only laughs and doubts from people when I said that I am going to diet, so there is no way I could talk about this stuff in person to anyone.

I was planning on doing JUST cardio today but I ended up doing everything and even more because I felt that I would be slacking off and getting fat again. Plus, I ate a handful of prunes today and I am still feeling guilty because they were sweet. If I didn't work out I couldn't handle that.
-
I am being obsessive about it, I know. But it has finally put me out of my waist 42 clothes into waist 34 ones and I cannot just let that go.
-
Not only was I able to work out, I was able to increase the weights and do them with less reps as suggested here. Thanks all for the advice.
-
That sounds scary. And my arm still hurts, moreso even.
-
Cheers guys, I guess it will have to be just cardio some days now, otherwise I will not be able to lift that much anyway or gain any muscle.
-
Oh I do want to gain muscles, so bulking up is fine. I have lost a lot of fat-weight so I can begin bulking up. So more reps does NOT equal to more muscle? I am new to the typical western gym world and when I lived in Russia we did workouts every day as kids when we did wrestling.
-
So if I did a double cardio tomorrow, would that make more sense for the muscles?
-
Oh I am sure my problems are not serious enough for your replies.
-
Yes, I do it every day. And until I increased my weights by a bit today I was fine. If I don't go I will never go again so I do have to go tomorrow.
-
I know the drill, I used to be on 600 cals for 3 months (lost a ton), but when I began going to the gym I first increased it to 900 and now I am at 1300ish. When you increase it from the 600 you will see an improvement in how you feel right away. When going to the gym you cannot stick to anything below a 1000 or it will…

I feel that exercise calculator overestimated my expenditure and food calculator underestimated the intake. I might be paranoid, but I feel like they really do. For example, it seems silly that gardening would eat up more calories per hour than strength training and weightlifting...
