After becoming a little too relaxed with my weight loss plan I have been able to get back on track over the last two weeks. I even worked out on a Sunday! I wanted to test how much time I would need in the morning so I could exercise before going to work so went through the whole routine. I originally planned to just add…

The shirt I'm wearing today used to be a little too small but now it is getting baggy. Not to mention I bought a dress from Macy's online and it is also verging on too big. Both are a size medium! I am also officially at a healthy bmi! I haven't been a healthy bmi in over 15 years.

I am 5'4 and 31 years old. SW: 194 CW: 141 GW: 125 I lost my weight by eating within my calories, (most days) and exercise off and on except for the last 4 months I have been exercising at least 5 days a week but mostly 6. I do the elliptical, hike, have done some calisthenics, and have been getting into yoga . Good job…

Keep at it and you will get there. I still huff and puff through half of the jog but the point is I do it. I tell myself I won't stop until I reach a certain time limit or fall off the machine and I haven't fallen off yet. I have been adding 5 minutes at a time, 1 minute at a time over a 5 day period whenever the previous…

I can jog on the elliptical for 20 minutes straight. When I started I could only jog for about 2 minutes at a time. This progress had been made in roughly 4 months time. I never thought that I would ever be able to jog for that long . It feels amazing to know I am getting stronger and healthier.

As long as I'm trying, I am succeeding. If it's important to you then nothing will keep you from it. The harde the struggle, the greater the reward. No matter what you do, be proud of yourself.

There is a 5 year and 80 pound difference between these. Before 225 ish pounds. During 146 pounds.

Congratulations to you. I am 20 pounds away from my goal weight which will be 100 pounds los in total from my highest. I am so anxious and excited to get there. I lost 30 pounds 5 1/2 years ago and kept it off. Then, in September 2014 I finally decided it was time to lose the rest. I am like you in a lot of ways. I have…

I walked to the store instead of driving. I resisted lots of delicious treats while at the grocery store.

There's also www.lmgtfy.com Which is let me Google that for you. :p

This weight loss process has been slow for me: 48 pounds in 18 months. The reason for this is because I used to have a cheat weekend every weekend. At first, it was fine, I still lost weight consistently every week and would lose the water weight from it in 2 days or so. Then I reached a point where I would put on 2-5…

I did research. I got on the Internet and searched "weight loss success stories" I discovered that a majority of people seemed to have done it by simply eating less and moving more. I was skeptical. So, I broadened my search term to, "weight loss success stories from people who kept it off" and came to the realization that…

I posted in this forum about a competing in a February weight loss challenge. I didn't win :( but, I took 3rd place with 5 pounds lost. :) I also mentioned that I wanted to be able to jog on the elliptical for 30 minutes. I'm up to 15. My next goal is to lose 6 more pounds so that I'm out of the overweight category and…

My bra size was recently a 34 DD which was near impossible to find at any department stores. I did a little research and discovered a 38 C was supposedly comparable. Well, I took the source for truth and bought the 38 C. Well, it fit fine except I would have to adjust the girls a bit when I put on my bra lest they fall out…

When I first started on mfp and my weight loss journey I guesstimated a lot of what I ate. Now I weight and measure absolutely everything. Even if I have a piece of fruit, I weigh it, eat the edible portion, then weigh the peel/core and subtract difference. The only exception is when I go out to eat and the restaurant…

My hips sway more when I walk. I didn't expect my walk to change. I didn't think that I walked 'like a fat person,' but I guess I did.

In my case, part of my depression was caused because I was obese. I wanted to change and be happier and it hit me that what made me the most depressed was my weight and how out of control I let it get. I also want to have a baby in the next 3 or years or there abouts and have always experienced menstrual and hormonal…

I gained my weight because I ate too much fast food. I am still addicted to it. When I started on mfp and losing weight I had a cheat day which more often than not turned into a cheat weekend. I still lost weight consistently for awhile. This was because I was under calories by 100-300 every day during the week. When I got…

Nobody told me I would become overly judgmental of others who claim to want to lose weight but fail. A few members, including me, of an all female weight loss group on Facebook are challenging each other to see who can lose the most weight in February. One of the participants has maintained her weight in the last two…

Two weeks ago I couldn't run for more than a minute at a time. Today, I ran for a little over 3 minutes straight without stopping. Every day I can run for just a little bit longer at a time and it feels great.

I used to reserve the weekends for eating fast food anf other junk. I also was getting littlw to no exercise. Lately, I had been noticing a pattern in my weight loss in which I would just be spending the week losing the weight I put on over the weekend. This was due partly to being only 30 pounds from my goal and partly…

Before around 225 lbs During was around Sept 2015 and I was 155 lbs. CW is 148. Congratulations to everyone. I know this journey isn't easy but it is worth it.

I'm in a weight loss challenge with some friends for the month of February. We are competing with each other to see who will lose the most weight and I really want to win. I have been at a horrible plateau. Which is in large part due to me being too relaxed with what I have been eating lately and the fact that I was…

I was 29 and deeply depressed. I knew that the older I got, the harder it would be to lose weight. I hated myself for the way I looked. I decided I HAD to lose weight and I knew I had to be successful. So, I researched. What did successful people do? I found out that I needed to take it one meal, one choice, and one day at…

2 different people at work today asked me if I was losing weight and commented on the fact that my waist is looking slimmer. Since the scale hasn't budged much lately, this is truly an NSV.

I went to the store to buy jeans and grabbed what I thought was a 10 (US), and the third pair I tried on. They were a little tight but only in the way that they will loosen up after wearing for a while. So, I decided to get them anyway because I liked how they looked. It wasn't until after I took them off I noticed that…

Reading through the posts is a great way to figure this out. ;)
