Your calorie count goal should never be below your BMR so on non-work-out days you should eat some amount higher then 1411 and on work out days is should be higher then 1411 plus the calories you burned working out. And as your BMI is in a healthy range you should aim for slower weight loss so if I were you I would eat…

Water weight.

Eat more!!! It sounds like you are starving yourself and your body is holding on to everything it can because of it.

If you can eat dairy, cream cheese or whipped cream with your favorite extract (i.e. the little bottle of vanilla from the baking section) is good.

1. There are a lot of ideas for meals in the low carb/keto forums for low carb/ no/low sugar meals. And there are many websites with recipes too. 2/3.. Why are you not wanting to raise your fat content. Most low carb diets are low carb and high fat. If you aren't getting your energy from carbs then you need the fat. If you…

If you want to find like minded people, go to the low carb, keto, and/or paleo groups.

Then get the info for free on youtube. It makes it a little harder to look up all of the scientific studies he used, but then you can see if it would be worth it to read the book. Or google "The A TO Z Weight Loss Study" and see the results of a study that actually compared low carb, low fat, and low calorie diets.

You might want to look up the work Gary Taubes has done on diet. He goes into a lot of detail on cholesterol: types, impact of diet on it, and how important is it really.

You can also change your saturated fat goal on MFP. I have mine set at 50% of my fat as besides coconut oil most ever food you think about being high in saturated fat is a mix of types of fats, so it is a realistic percent of what I eat. From most everything I have read by experts on health/nutrition that aren't afraid of…

I'm mostly primal on a keto (very low carb) diet. I would love more friends with similar ideas on food.

First, you should open up your diary to help people see what you are eating. What veggies are you eating? Remember corn and beans/peas are grains and legumes not veggies. Also are you counting total carbs or net carbs? Staying under 20 grams can sometimes be harder if you are counting total carbs as low carb veggies tend…

If you are at a 900 cal. deficit with only 15 lbs to loss, you probably need to eat more even if you aren't working out. http://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/ is a good calculator for setting up your goals. And remember your cal. goal should never be below your BMR.

Would coconut water be too carby for you? It has a good amount of electrolytes.

I'm hoping to lose about a half a pound a week, so maybe about 2 lbs more.

Still 4.62% , but looking back at the goal I set for Memorial Day, I've hit goal.

If I were you I would just plan a small, primal/paleo dessert as part of my dinner each night. Either eat a little less of the meal so you aren't full when you're eating it or save it for later with the idea that you don't need to eat it, but it is there if you want it. Sometimes knowing it is okay to snack makes you less…

Total loss %- 4.62 I have hit the weight that I hoped I could reach before starting this diet, and learning that unlike ever other diet I have tried, this works.

Still 4.04% this week.

Two pounds a week is a good speed of weight loss. Remember you didn’t gain all the weight over night it’s going to take time to loss it too. From the little info you gave I would say that you need to eat more than 1225 calories a day. Use an on-line calculator to find out how many calories a day your body is using just to…

Make sure you talk to your doctor/nutritionist about your diet. As although this diet was used for type 1 diabetes before they found insulin, everything I have read about the diet and diabetes says that it’s not recommended for type 1 diabetics, or not recommended without careful and constant medical monitoring due to the…

At 20 grams of carbs a day you were doing a ketogenic diet so your body was switching from using carbs for energy to fat and ketones. Some people have a harder time with these adjustments and experience the low carb or keto flu. These people have a time ranging from a couple of days to a week where they feel sick, worn…

Under your my home tab there is a goal tab you can use to adjust your macros to a more low carb diet. While you are turning down the carb percent, up the fat percent as you should be eating more calories from fat then protein as too much protein can also slow down results.

I'm Nanoing this month. During the camps in the spring and summer you can pick a shorter word count. Here's the website of camp Nano http://campnanowrimo.org/ .

Still 1.73%, but this was a week where maintaining was my goal.
