ive been on the site for approximately 7 years. havent really refreshed my friends for ages and just looked and none of them were active any more (no wonder it was quiet) if anyone wants support and advice, encouragement. im 75lbs down since start and have maintained for around 3 years (give or take a holiday or two)

my personal experience. is a kind of yes, based on my own results. at the moment i have lost 18lbs in total weight since January. on Jan 1st 2017 i was 277lbs 26% body fat. which is 72.02 Lbs of Fatty Mcfattyness. it seems to be a very common scenario and its not one to get you down. ive reached my target weight twice and put the same if not more weight back on twice. Im back throwing caution to the wind. I always feel like i can stop using MFP once i reach my target, this time ive decided im using it forever.

Hi Gary, i do all body weight training myself, mainly supersets and sprints in the gym. Yes im that annoying guy who jumps on and off a treadmill every 2 minutes. But basically ive found it to be the best way to get fitter. ive no interest in being stronger. agility and muscular endurance matter to me. no aesthetics.

@ajarseneau i pay for the pro feature because when you get close to the goal weight you can have different macros and goals for each day. This is more important for those last few pounds. i found that it really helps to put some dates in a diary or calendar that are short and long term goals. im back again after a break from calorie counting and ive made some notes of what i should be aiming for. that helps to not fret over the decreasing progression. try making a 1 month goal, 3 month goal and a 6 month…

yeh, im basically taking that approach, if someone mentions something ive struggled with then i try and help and then offer friendship. I just wondered if anyone had any other methods. its a slow process to build up the common relation ships

ive never personally tried this because i would know how you choose which days to go low on. ive met lots of people who have been successful long term with it. They basically live on soup for two days per week.

im an engineer and the work is seasonal as such, and it comes in big waves. so some times im super busy , other times im not. i do absolutely pick up all the work i can already. but it just seems like i still have lots of time at my computer without a lot to do.

1) dont buy any book 2) use google to find a list of low carb foods. 3) replace current meals with low carb foods. why is your Dr recommending a brand? (USA?)
