  • I started a couple of weeks ago to reduce the amount of sugar. What I have done is to have a large amount of fruit at breakfast as its naturally occurred sugars with helps me with the cravings and I will burn it during the day. In my tea/coffee I use coconut nectar instead of sugar. And as I have a sweet tooth I have as…
  • I find the best solution to the sugar problem is coconut sugar for teas, coffees and things like that (I find honey for coffee just odd for my taste). For my personal point of view. I use honey to add sweetness to yoghurts, smoothies and oats as it has its own benefits too as food.

  • Please forget DIETS = DEVIL I have seen my mother straggling the last 20 years trying all sort of diets and... failing. Putting back all the weight in one go every time she stopped one of those for a break. It makes your body go to starvation mode and when you stop it you gain it all again. It is actually the worst thing…

  • Ahhhh 1 of those radios! I always wanted one... it looks so much fun to talk with people all over the planet. People don't talk to each other enough these days I say.
  • I always do cardio frist because i hate it so I want to take it out of the way (and i use it as a warm up too) and do the strength training afterwards; which demands more effort as I am already tired. But that's me and indeed one of the personal trainers at my gym said exactly as quoted above; it should be afterwards…

  • I forgot to add that there are certain foods you can eat when you have cravings that will help you combat them. I can't/don't know how to upload a pic here so I posted in a blog: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/PRguez/view/cravings-648785 It shows a chart depending the craving you are having what 'normal' foods help.
  • I am with the rest: FRUIT, specially the tropical sweet ones like mangoes, pineapple ... they are sweeeeeett. I had your problem but only with chocolate.... now I eat a bit of 85% dark chocolate every day which they say it is actually healthy (i am sticking to this no matter what :) ) and found that I can cope with my…
  • Totally Agree. You could try what they call they 80-20 diet or whatever; meaning you behave yourself 5 days a week and you allow yourself some treats the other 2 days. I think willpower is important as they pointed out; but I also think having a good time with your friends it is :) so go ahead and eat what they eat if you…
