Ginger Snaps. Love that movie. "You needn't take it any further, sir. You've proved to me that all this ultraviolence and killing is wrong, wrong, and terribly wrong. I've learned me lesson, sir. I've seen now what I've never seen before. I'm cured! Praise god!"

Sorry, that's a myth. There are no magic fat burning foods. The only purpose that will serve is to more quickly fill up your calorie allowance.
-
There are no magic weight loss foods, unfortunately. But, if you actually like it and it fits into your calories, go for it.

I've never been in a relationship, but do men not get BJs and their favorite food as a normal part of one? The fact that there's a specific day for that kind of makes me sad. Oh, and not a dude, but New York strip, ribeye, filet.... As long as it's thick, juicy, and flavorful.

I can agree with most of your original post, but I can also agree with some of the other commenters. Are many of the posts people make on MFP frustrating to read? Absolutely. Is weight loss ultimately down to calories in, calories out? Yes. Are people responsible for their own health and choices? Yes again. However, you…

Nope, I love my microwave. I cook chicken, pasta, vegetables, omelettes, desserts, as well as all manner of other things in there. It's quick, and when done right, tastes just as good as using the oven or stove.

Detoxes are not necessary. Your body does that naturally just fine. As for grapefruit burning fat, that's a myth. There are no quick fixes or magic fat burning foods. If you want to lose weight, eat at a calorie deficit. It's that simple.

Not quite. We share a common ancestor. I agree for the most part, though.

It depends on the man in question. Different styles suit different people. I am personally not all that picky. If I were dating a man, I would want him to have his facial hair however he was most comfortable. Provided that it is relatively well-kept, of course.

That is untrue. Livestrong is not a good source for accurate information.

Going back through your food diary, I see a number of missed days and what looks like a few uncompleted entries. Make sure you're logging all of your food, every single day. Double check the food database entries you choose to ensure the nutrition information is accurate. And then give it time. If everything is accurate,…

Perfectly stated.

None of this is necessary, OP. Though it's important to eat nutrient-dense food for health and satiety, you don't need to cut anything out. If you're gaining instead of losing weight, you're simply eating more than you think. I recommend getting a food scale and weighing and logging everything you consume consistently.…

I recommend joining one of MFP's Christian themed groups. Your posts will be better received there. Religious topics are not well-suited for the main forums.

I see that many people have already offered similar advice, but it's good advice and I'm going to repeat it. If you're not weighing your food, you don't know how much you are truly consuming. Increasing your calorie goal is not going to help because you're not in a deficit. I recommend getting a food scale and weighing and…

Yeah, my location doesn't exactly help matters. There is not much here except trees, cows, fields, and people I really don't get along with. I know there are others out there who struggle with the same issues, I guess it's just easy to forget that when it seems everyone else is more experienced than me. I feel a bit better…
