Absolutely, friend request coming your way!

Hey! I've been keto for many years - lazy keto and some meds has resulted in weight gain for me over the past year and a half though, but I'm back on the horse! Please add me - looking for fellow keto people on my feed!

Hope you guys don't mind that I've sent you friend requests. I've been keto since beginning of 2017. Lost 90lb. But last year I went through a stressful period in my life, and whilst I was still technically keto, I was relying on a lot of artificial sweeteners and probably went over a bit on carbs a fair bit too. So, I'm…

I have twice the amount I need, some stored at home, and some stored in a small bag in my satchel. That way I've always got them with me.

The Magic Pill is an interesting viewing experience too.

0-30. I'm in my second week, and 8lb down. I've found as time goes on that I'm craving carbs less and less, so the 0-30 has been in the lower range as the week progresses.

Firstly - you're one week in. You're not going to see much change yet. Wait, and weigh yourself in a month. Secondly, as LovelessFood said, 1.3lb is nothing. You can fluctuate by 4-6lb every day! And remember, this isn't about restricting yourself, this is about finding a healthier way to live. Don't go too much below your…

^This. So much this. You need to think about the long run. You need something that is sustainable. Because no matter how you feel about 900 calories now. At some point, it will all come crashing down. Because that's not a sustainable allowance. A lot of the people here who fall off the wagon (myself included) do so because…

Couldn't (still can't really) bare to look at myself in the mirror

There's no such thing as detox.

I'm so glad to hear that this has happened to other people :)

After Christmas last year, I weighed myself, and had gained a lot of weight. I hadn't weighed myself for about 6 weeks, and had been under a lot of stress, and fallen off the wagon. Jumped back on the wagon, and weighed myself a week after that, and the scale jumped down by 10lb! I instantly knew that at least half, if not…

^THIS Recently a doctor said they could recommend me to Weight Watchers. This was after I explained that I had already lost weight, and was losing weight by eating healthily and exercising. I looked confused at her, and said "I already know what I'm doing.. and I don't agree with their practises." Points doesn't tell you…

I really hope this happens, and applies to the UK as well. Because once, a chicken wrap made me cry. Let me explain. I had finished at the gym. I was almost 3 stone down from my original weight. I was exhausted, and wanted to grab a post-gym snack/meal.. Pottering around the local Morrisons, my husband and I picked up a…

Hey Darius. The first step is getting into the behaviour of logging your food properly. Weight loss is said to be 80% what you eat, and 20% exercise, and I for one agree with this. If there are any bus journeys you could walk, then try and start doing that. I cut out a 15 minute bus journey and walked it instead, every…

You're preaching to the choir there! Same with whoever does those pizzas where they've removed a load from the middle and replaced it with salad. They just took the best bit out of the pizza!

So yes, if you found an entry that stated that the pizza you ate was actually 1458, then yes, it's wrong. Maybe you could give more details on which entry it was? As for applying this across the board, the correct item is usually in there somewhere, so try scrolling down until you find one what corresponds with the…

And if you bought it in store, then the nutritional information shows that half a pizza is 312 calories. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=261384030

The Pizza Express 2016 'Our Food Calories and Nutrition' shows the Margherita as being 729 calories. I've found the correct entry in the data base under "Pizza Express Restaurant - Margherita Classic" Calories 729 Sodium 0 mg Total Fat 23 g Potassium 0 mg Saturated 0 g Total Carbs 91 g Polyunsaturated 0 g Dietary Fiber 6 g…

I'd double check that you're understanding of the packaging you have is correct. Looking in the Database, it shows that half the pizza is either 260 calories or 312, depending on the size. This actually seems low to me, but you're seeming to suggest that this is high? Which means you think the whole pizza should only be…

Make sure you're drinking enough fluids. It's rare that anyone is drinking enough water these days. I drink a lot now, as it makes me feel fuller, and helps prevent me from snacking. But my colleagues around me think the quantity I drink is 'abnormal' (I drink about 6 pints a day). Being thirsty can often be mistaken for…

Yay! Someone has actually set themselves a realistic goal! You see so many posts on here where someone puts something long the lines of 'want to lose 5 stone (31KG) by (date in 2months time)!' That's the exact goal I'm setting myself too. I want to lose 10-14lb by Christmas. Add me if you want a fellow goal buddy :)

Hi Jill! I once lost 40lb - gained back 20lb. I'm back to lose that gain and more. I know what went wrong, and I'm not going to let it happen again. We can do this!

I confess that, during my dark days, many years ago, I once ate two whole tins of Roses chocolates over the course of two days.

I was watching my calories feverishly, and not really losing much. A 1lb here and there. It was getting really disheartening. Then I realised I wasn't really focussed on my fat macro. Starting last monday, I focussed mainly on fat percentages and g instead of calories. Bam, 5lb down in the first week. I was clearly going…

^This I never say anything, but seeing that someones put a 19 calorie burn in their diary for house cleaning makes me grimace. In my opinion, HRMs are great for tracking your workouts, so if you do choose to eat back your exercise calories you can, but mainly to track your progress. Managed to burn 200 calories in X amount…

Pretty damn bad, but hey, I'm a work in progress. Mine is 51%.

Hey Shirley. I know how it feels to be discouraged by your own behaviours. I look at myself and think 'why did you let this happen? You did this'. But, I hope one day I'll be able to look in the mirror and smile when I say 'you did this', and be proud of my achievements. Right now, you're focusing on what you've done to…
