^^Hahaha. SO WRONG!

In college I was so desperate, I cleaned an entire frat house for $80. Don't ask...

We're in the same boat! Friend request/message sent... :)

To answer your question, yes. The only difference is that you might find it a little more dificult to fall asleep at night. But, working out is better than not working out. :)

I guess this all depends on how you define the word 'tall.' I'm tall compared to most of my girl friends. 5'8" Down to 122 lbs (pretty much at goal) Currently working on building muscle. I love to cook, love eating healthy and still enjoy sweet treats every now and again. Food diary is open- I'm on here daily! Feel free to…

Just sent you a message with a FR. There's a goup on here called "Fitness Competitions." I found a few amazing friends through there as well as great advice in those forums. Hope this helps!

The only place I could find that sells it is Whole Foods. The brand is called Arrowhead Mills. It comes in a bag, not a box. But I'm sure any "healthy" or organic grocery market sells puffed millet. You should definitely try it!
-
Lately I've been on a puffed millet kick. 1 cup of puffed millet is only 60 calories and 11 carbs. I mix it with 1/2 cup of Silk Vanilla flavored soymilk (50 calories, 5 carbs) and usually add chopped fresh strawberries or blackberries on top. Without the fruit, say hello to a yummy 110 calorie breakfast with only 16…

Ah, but fruit is nature's candy!

Good to know. The protein I currently use is whey based with leucine and a bunch of other amino acids (Its the GNC Amplified Wheybolic Extreme). I'll have to look into the casein type.

NICE! I've always wanted to take pole dancing classes. It looks freakin' hard!

I've had my fair share of patients with aspiration pneumonia at work. Usually they end up septic and on a mechanical ventilator. FUN! :noway:

^^Thanks for the info! Guess I will try this and see what happens...

^^^Her recipe is AWESOME! I brought the apples to work and everyone looked at my messy bag of fruit and of course was wondering, "What the heck are you eating?" They tried a piece and were blown away by how good they were. (and only 3 ingredients? Can't beat that!) Something I'll do to satisfy a chocolate craving is add 1…

The salesperson at GNC literally told me, "don't drink a protein shake before bed or it'll make you fat." Umm, ok. I'm beginning to see why so many people on this site bash that place! I've heard a lot regarding glutamine aiding in muscle recovery, but never tried it. Any recommended brands? GNC?? (I kid! I kid! )…

That should read, "go-to entrée" not good-to. Ha
-
When I'm in a pinch (and still want to be healthy) my good-to entrée is fish. I'll coat salmon filets with lemon pepper and garlic powder, then bake or cook them in a skillet. My go-to healthy side dish is fresh, steamed broccoli or green beans. If I'm feeling really lazy, I'll buy the fresh broccoli that comes in a bag,…

If you're going for a lighter breakfast, try yogurt with fresh fruit. I like the Oikos greek yogurt (vanilla flavor) with 1/4 cup of either fresh blackberries, raspberries, or strawberries. YUM!
-
That timeline sounds appropriate. Glad I could help. :)

Thanks for all the yummy ideas. I was going to add the cinnamon roll and peanut brittle recipes, but they're already listed above. Kudos to summersbest for listing all of those out!

I saw that in your diary and decided to give the egg whites mixed with 1 regular egg a try. It was awesome! Yesterday I made an omlette with spicy sprouts, sauteed spinach and 1 slice of swiss cheese. And of course garlic powder and pepper for seasoning. I'll have to get on this Mrs. Dash bandwagon next.

Its been listed under my "inspiration" section since Day 1. I'm totally in! I log in daily and love to make new friends on here. Feel free to add me!!

I agree with Sullycc about maybe getting some lessons or watching video tutorials on technique. My advice is to try focusing on just part of the stroke for now. Try using a kickboard and practicing the kick for breastroke, or mix it up and do freestyle (flutter), butterfly, or backstroke. Do this until you get the hang of…

I started taking Orthotricyclen when I was 20, finally got off it at age 26 (two months ago, to be exact). It is an "old school drug" but was really cheap through my insurance. My weight pretty much stayed the same (went from 118 to 126 in a six year span). The only thing that noticeably changed was that my acne disappeared…

This might sound a little crazy, but I've started adding a pinch of garlic powder to my eggs and I will NEVER go back! Its amazing what a difference it makes in taste. Try it. You'll like it.

I have the one from Target too. I stopped wearing it because it made me look like I had a double-boob thing going on. Sexy! LOL
-
Thank you! I get that all the time, but usually its from old men. haha

Whoops. Pic didn't work. Visualize a 6 inch surprise of snow. :(
