I totally agree with you! Playing piano, singing, doing music DOES work off cals! I would prob use my Apple Watch to see what the calorie burn was (under "other" or sth like that). Agree with doing exercise DAILY is a huge key to maintaining - also losing weight, particularly cardio of some sort. Have a great weekend!

I clicked on the MFP blog she linked to, and she said she went to the gym 3-4 days a week, 2 hrs each time, and was eating 1200 cals a day. Popcorn & i put a tiny 1 tsp of MELTED salted butter on it. It’s fiber!!! And low cal! 1 tsp butter=35 cals, air-popped popcorn is 31 cals per cup. And it will fill you up!!! Hi Liam, you can follow me if you like. I too have a super large tummy. I am finding that cardio seems to help bring it down, I’m doing Just Dance with my husband daily & there’s been some movement. I don’t drink & I’m making sure I go, all the time, I even made some “cookies” to make me “go” if you know what I mean.

All I know is that cardio is amazing for reducing weight! Good for you for running 5x a week! If you’re running 2-5k on each of those days I would not go down to 1200 a day. IDK if you can afford health ins in the USA but there’s also doctorondemand.com which are real physicians who will see you via your phone or ipad for less than the cost of a visit. However, just thinking about this, your best bet is to see someone in real life who can do some tests on you, so that’s prob your best bet. GL.

OP, if you’re using a cardio machine to calculate your cal burns it will not be accurate. I recommend getting an Apple watch to calculate your cal burns much more accurately.
