Thanks for the reply! I'm hoping that as I get stronger I can start adding new exercises in and upping my weights. the program gives a 2 month plan and then advises a new program after that. One day I'd love to go back to a gym and be able to use the weights area with confidence! :)

Also along the same lines: this morning in my gym, I heard the manager criticizing someone for eating pineapple, cos apparently the sugars in pineapple create belly fat. This was an actual conversation I stopped specifically to eavesdrop on. Pineapple gives you belly fat!!

What's jerky? Unfortunately no, it's a work vehicle and they are not allowed anything like this. Sucks cos it would solve a lot of issues. I use to do shifts too, I feel your pain!! When the tiredness hits midway through and you need that boost...yuck! Can you snack as you work? Keeping an extra apple or some sachets of soup use to keep me going and stop me binging when I got home. It also kept me away from the sweets and cakes that were always available!!!!!…

I'm really into salads in a jar at the minute. The dressing is at the bottom and everything is layered so it stays crispy! Or if you have a sandwich toaster you can make a great one for less than 200 cal!

Fruit juices!! And Skinny Latte's can still be a few hundred in some cases. Goes to show you can't assume a food/drink is low just cos they tell you it's low. I've had to start pre-checking my order before I place it, just so i don't accidentally screw up my day with a "skinny" drink.

That's crazy, cos everyone I know who tries to lose weight usually goes straight to the gluten free section!! It's good to know someone is benefiting from the GF fads. In this case, I hope the GF fad keeps going too!!

I feel like this about Gluten Free!! Unless you have an actual medical reason to be gluten free, there is no reason to jump on the gluten free band wagon. I heard that too! Someone said it makes you look weathered cos the sun, wind burn etc. I'd suggest a good moisturizer and sun screen if you're worried. I can't really say, I prefer the treadmill and being inside.

I walk/run on my tiptoes, I never even noticed until someone asked about my "pixie walk". I'm also very flexible and can spider walk down stairs and it freaks people out.
