I’m starting over also after another foot surgery. I really need this time to be the one. Hubby & I have a FL trip next month and family reunion in Aruba. We’re also going to Peeble Beach next year. I need to get in shape and increase stamina! 👟👟🏌️♀️🏌️♀️

I like the Fitbit. I have the Zip. It doesn't do great on the bike riding. I'm going to try clipping to my pant leg and see how it works. It registers alot of activity. It also registers how many calories you body burns just functioning. You can factor that in with the 1200 and find exercises you enjoy. That's the only way…

I'm with you. I had foot surgery in Feb 2015. Instead of working out before hand...I slacked off. I'm about 15lbs off my goal. I could really use some support. I leave in a resort area but don't take advantage of what it has to offer.... :s So disappointed in myself. Any encouraging words??

I did get one of those mini peddlers you put under you desk and peddle while you work. I will check with the therapist and see if I can use it. The foot surgery was pretty extensive. I just want to find the motivation I had before but the older I get the lazier I become - seems easier as all bad things do.....why is that???

At this point I can bearly shower. I can't drive and no gym for at least a month. I. started physical last week. That's slow I can only walk with crutches and put 10% weight on my foot. I'm proud of myself I have added free weights for my arm strength in between foot reps. I can feel a little burn that's good. I know now…

I suffer my self on occasion. Try simple breathing in though the nose out through the mouth. Sucking on a peppermint candy or camomile tea or diet ginger ale's not bad..... Good luck ????

I sugges New Balance....I've been wearing them for years and found they are the most comfortable and durable. JC Penney usual has a good selection and most times on sale for under $40.00. Happy Walking........

I applaud your commitment to losing weight but 12lbs in a week is not possible unless you have eaten 42,000 calories in that case you would still be consuming 6,000 a day. Your scale us broken... Where do you have time to work. By the way 1,000 calories is not enough. If that is the case get real with your weight loss…

Everyone has been in your shoes at one time or another - don't be so hard on yourself...don't cry just move on...if you harbor the negative thoughts they will sabbatoge you for the rest of the day. The great thing is you can make a fresh start anytime you want.. As far as suggestions before you over indulge think…
