I did try to only take in 1200 for a couple of weeks...not eating back exercise calories but that didn't work either.

I work out on elliptical and Jillian Michaels for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs every day and have my MFP allocate me 1200 calories a day....I eat back half my exercise calories...300 to 400 for net of 1500 to 1600 per day. MFP has me set at 1200 calories a day....I am 53 yr old female 5'2"...exercise 90 minutes a day so 1200 seems low for me.

Doesn't matter when you eat....I eat between 1 pm and 9 pm because I am hungry later in the day...it works for me. Just stay within your calorie allotment and good luck!

Leslie Sansone DVDs and Jillian Michaels 30 day shed and ripped in 30....don't need a lot of room. I used them all the time in my tiny place

I have my first meal around noon and don't eat after 8 or 9...works for me.

I am 53 and use DVDs to walk and circuit train every day...it is hard I think as you age but sometimes we use it as as excuse...me included. You have to push yourself and be strong...you can do it. I was on 1200 calories a day and not losing..now on 1600 calories a day I am losing 1.5 a weeK! Make sure you are eating enough

Haven't tried it but I am currently doing Killer Buns and Thighs - tried level 2 yesterday and it almost killed me - my legs are sore today. I liked 30 day shed and ripped in 30 too. My current favorite is No More Trouble Zones.

On my second 30 day - this time with 5 lb weights - it's great - level 3 kicks my butt :)
