Wendy, I agree with the BBL rating. I also don't use the cardio workouts but High & Tight is an awesome workout for hitting some of those often missed leg and glutes muscles. Tummy Tuck is also terrific but I'm not using it right now as Jeff has me foo.g so much core work. I'm putting High & Tight into my marathon training…

You're probably going to get a lot of.negative response about P90X2 but I love it! (Disclaimer- I'm on phase 1 and plan to stay here for quite a while)I had a lot of side to side imbalances and was looking for a focus on core strengthening and stability. Found it! It is incredibly challenging, but completely different from…

I  Body For Life!!!!! It was the 1st program that introduced me to the concept of balanced eating with frequent smaller meals and the concept of an indulgent day or meal.It taught me how to pre-plan meals and I still use it as the base idea behind my eating. It is so easy to follow and never made me feel deprived.…

Resisted reading for a while...didn't want to get caught up in the *hype* OMG!!! WHY did I wait!?!?!?! Devoured Book 1, went out and bought Catching Fire and MockingJay cover to cover, back to back in one day! So much more than kids killing kids. It's on my daughter's reading list @ USC for this semester's Lit class

I'm ashamed to admit that I watch Keeping up with the Kardashians :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: but on one episode she actually had an x-ray done of her @$$ to prove there aren't any implants

Haha! Me too! You're guaranteed a perfect *pass the popcorn* thread whenever the OP claims, *I'm not looking for argument or debate BUT....then proceeds to state an extremely divisive opinion

I'm so sorry that you are having so many complications :frown: For me, after 4 babies in 4 years, the 4th @ age 21, with failed birth control and only 1 ovary and ovarian cysts on the remaining ovary so I SHOULD have had fertility problems, it was a life saver. I've never had any issues related to it, in the nearly 19…

I love Body for Life. I need to review the challenge guidelines, but I have had great success in the past using the basic principles. It might be just what I need to help me get through the next phase!

I wear a camelbak for the long runs.

Thanks for the review.:flowerforyou: I almost bought one last week. I'll definitely go back for one now. I figured out that if I pay $1 per liter bottle of Smart Water, that's $300...when compared to the $15 investment for one bobble. Whoo! That's a no brainer!

I love my BodyBugg. I realized that I was WAY off on my calorie burns...super over estimating, even when using a HRM. I do like the fact that BodyMedia Fit has a sleep cycle measurement. I probably would've gone with it vs. the Bugg for that reason. Also, I still use MFP for my calorie counting. The food journal is much…

Thanks for posting this! I also just started tracking my sodium and potassium and I am barely hitting 500mg of potassium per day. I appreciate the food lists people have provided! :flowerforyou:

It's most likely less related to your heart rate and more connected to your body mass. The less mass you have to move around, the less energy it takes.

You can do it! My daughter & I are competing with eachother this summer for weight loss and fitness. We have 15 weeks to lose 37 pounds (me) 40 (for her). One of the things our trainer said is to take advantage of any down time and get up & move...take a walk, go for a hike, Zumba,etc.....just get more active (this is…

 Tom Venuto! Thanks for taking the time to type out such an excellent summary :flowerforyou: I agree The Body Fat Solution is good for starting out and BFFM takes it to the next level!

Sounds to me like you've answered your own question  ...your questions seem to indicate you have concerns about her ability to be completely honest & accurate in her medical advice/treatment of you JMHO :flowerforyou:

Thanks for the book review! :flowerforyou: I am always interested in expanding my knowledge base, whether or not I discover I agree or disagree with the information presented. I had a veryclose call with colon cancer (I'm 39)...my growth was removed in January, by summer I would've been diagnosed with cancer. Interestingly…

Both! A lot of people do a P90X/Insanity hybrid program. They complement eachother perfectly. In fact, the new Insanity program ASYLUM will come with a P90X/Asylum hybrid schedule!

Oh my gosh, yes! Do you think they will have double the contestants since they are doubling the trainers? I can't believe that young girl had to lose 100 pounds before she could apply to the show! I hope she does well!
