You look so much younger!

What kind of smoker do you have? And how do you season your meat before smoking?
-
@heyitsame recipe for the shrimp fried rice? It looks good.

Well done! Keep working at it. Honestly, I think your butt is just fine. If you make sure to lift heavy weights (whatever feels heavy to you) while losing the weight, you can be sure that your butt will stay/become firm and round.

I have to agree that it is quite accurate. Fitbit flex worked for me in the past. Now, after baby #3, I'm back in business, and the Charge HR motivates me like no other. I'm still amazed at how many calories I burn just from daily activities (housewife, 2 toddlers, 1 infant). I figured out my TDEE from the weekly reports…

I believe Fitbit average gives you the best guess (you have to manually enter non step based workouts). ETA: I'd start with Fitbit numbers and see what changes come with it. Then you'll adjust to true TDEE.

Following because our stats are pretty close!

I don't have an answer different from what you've been given already. Just wanted to encourage you in your goals. I imagine how scary it must be to think of going higher in cals when pants are getting tighter. Up your cals to match activity level, stick with it and see what happens. Push through the panic mode! (I was in…

Hahahaha!

This!

Thanks for the link. I can't find an entry that takes the fat into account so I might have to increase calories to make up for it.

It IS worth it. I do that too. Perhaps I should go on the site now and search for ribeye steak. Now, THAT, I haven't done. ETA: I just did. No ribeye steak. Chuck, sirloin, round...but not rib. Just want to know what you guys do in such cases...

I find that's easier to do with such general items. Got no problem with that. I also scan packages and always double check (coz some ppl are just so lazy they don't enter all the info). In the case of the steak, I searched "beef ribeye steak raw lean fat" and didn't find any ribeye without asterisk. If I'm looking at the…

Oh those are depressing numbers! :s Fortunately I'm not inactive. I might be off on my logging, as suggested. Or I might just need to be patient and give it more time, as suggested as well. It won't hurt to do both.

It means I cut out a tiny piece of bread, weighed it, divided what is by serving size and logged it. I enter stuff like that because I know the cals can make a difference. On my phone, it might show up as, say 1/40, not 0.02****. I'm quite careful with the whole weighing and logging. I try not to estimate when possible. I…

Aaaah interesting!
-
How much of a variation should there be, you think? Oh gosh, I hope not! Lol
-
Trying to be patient, thanks :) I'm quite active. I'm a SAHM of two and spend most of my days on my feet. On top of it, I do cardio 2-3 times a week (~30 min sessions) and lift 2x/week. How close are you to your goal?
-
Ooooh I like that. It shows the fluctuations, yet put a line through for the trend! I'll give it a shot! :)
-
Thanks for sharing! I suppose I should give it more time. Good luck with getting back on it!
-
Aaaah thank you!! It seriously makes me smile. :)

Yes @higgins8283801, that's the reason I've been weighing daily. Just to see the trend. And well, I'm not sure what to think of it. It really is up and down. I've only been doing it for a few weeks though. Perhaps I should give it more time?
-
Thanks for the suggestion. Wouldn't MFP graph be enough?
-
I can't put on muscle on a deficit.
-
I do know that it fluctuates several pounds during the day. I can "put on" 2 pounds from morning to evening. But the numbers above are from weighing daily, in the morning, after using the toilet (not always pooping!) and before eating anything.
-
Hahaha that's what I secretly wish!

I think my BMR is around 1315. Not sure. I think it's higher according to Fitbit. Yes, there isn't a huge difference. Going for about 15% cut. No more than 20%. Female ~5'3 31 I do log accurately and use a scale.

I have to add that I recently walked past the freezer section at the supermarket and had to do a double take. I was shocked by how slimmer less fat I looked. I brushed it off telling myself that it was one of those glasses that made one look smaller. The same day, I walked towards a glass door and stopped at the…

You're doing great! This is very encouraging to hear.

Aaaargh!!! :( This isn't a good weekend for me. I'm feeling frustrated and discouraged. Right now, my mind is playing tricks and I've been tempted to cut further (but I haven't actually done that). The scale numbers are killing me. Deep down I know they don't tell the whole story but with 30 lbs left to lose, I'd think it…
