  • Hi! I am a 44 year old single mom ... I totally understand about having a hard time getting things done ... I'm continually coming to the realization that I just can't do it all!! But I want to be around to see my kids get old too  It's not that I have a lot of weight to lose (I woudl like to lose 20 lbs but I'll…

  • I've been doing a bunch of fitness blender workouts (youtube). I like it because I feel like I get a real workout and I can do it from home ... even if I went to the gym, I don't think I would push myself as hard as I do when following the videos.

  • I am hoping to be down 5 lbs over 10 weeks, so that would put me at 154. Anything less would be gravy!
  • Can I join, too? I just finshed a 10 week program here at work and I'm totally slacking without the accountability!
  • Hi, can I join you all? Happy April Fools Day everybody! I haven't had a chance to read everyone's story yet, but I will. I'm a single mom to twin 8 year old girls (love them, LOVE THEM!) and I'm trying to get in better shape and lose 10 - 15. I'm getting to the point where I don't really care so much what the scale…
  • I'm thinking about starting this soon, but I'm not sure how I'm going to work it in to what I'm already doing. I'm doing the first 8 weeks of the Fitness Blender workouts, and really want to stick with it (i'm about 1/2 way through). So, I might wait until I've made it through the full 8 weeks. Good luck!!
  • I added you! I log in everyday (I don't necessarily comment every day) but I'll make it a point to be more social and try to be motivational :)
  • I don't have any advice, just wanted to tell you I feel your pain ... I feel like over the last 6 weeks I have eaten less (not perfectly, but certainly less) and worked out MUCH more than before. The scale is down 2.5 lbs, but tomorrow they could all be back, so I feel like it's most realistically water weight. I didn't…
  • What a fantastic post ... thanks so much for sharing!
  • You can add me too! I'm finding this place keeps me very motivated, so welcome!
  • I'm glad to have read this thread. I'm in the same boat, this morning I was thinking that I can see how easy it would be to quit, being frustrated all the time, but reading everyone's comments makes me want to keep going. I will never look as good doing the exercises as the people on tv but as long as I'm doing them, it's…
  • I'm pretty new too and would like more friends to check in with. Feel free to add me too!
  • I will be 45 in June and am trying to lose 10. Ok I would prefer 20 but if my old clothes fit I will be satisfied with 10  I was treated for breast cancer almost 5years ago and since I feel like my body is about 10 years older hormonally so things feel a big more challenging than I think they should but…
