  • Hi mrayne13!! Welcome! It's a great workout and pushes us to our limits, doesn't it!? I thought I was going to die the first three days of level 1 too. Now that I'm starting my 7th day, I'm here to tell you - it gets (a little) easier!
  • I, along with most people I know, put it in under circuit training. Based on others comments, it looks like the HRM calories burned come out pretty close.

  • Finished day 6 of level 1 yesterday and things have definitely gotten a lot easier. After reading a bunch of comments on another board about level 2, I'm nervous about moving up in the next few days :0. However, I've lost 3 lbs and am excited about continuing the progress...

  • Awesome Job!!!!! Your hard work has definitely paid off!! If I get half your results in 30 days, I'll be thrilled!! Thanks for sharing your pictures!
  • Awesome job everyone! I took before pics yesterday (eww!) and look forward to the day when I can post afters!
  • D4L1 done! Finally found my 5 lb weights and put them to use. My arms were definitely more tired afterwardst than with the 2 pound that I had been using. I took my "before" pictures this afternoon too. OY! Not pretty. It certainly was motivation to push myself harder though!

  • Thanks for the smile! I'm glad it's not just me!! :)
  • Hi Siehatsdrauf, I wasn't sure if you were aware or not, but there's a "group" starting up (under the group tab) with about 120+ people joined up who are beginning the shred in November (or this week.) The more the merrier if you want to jump in to that one!! Either way - good luck to you! I'm just getting started myself,…
  • I have wimpy weights that came with the treadmill that I'm using, because my next step up is 10 pounders - too heavy!! I need to run out and pick up some 5lb weights...
  • Day 2 down! I was relieved that my muscles felt a bit better after they warmed up. I'm wondering how they'll feel tomorrow though!!

  • After an hour long boot camp on Saturday, and then day one of the Shred yesterday, I'm definitely feeling it today! Just to confirm, are most people planning on doing consecutive days, or building in rest days?

  • Hi, I'm Patty. I'm brand new to MFP, and just getting my feet wet. I actually joined quite a while ago, but just started using it for the first time this weekend. After doing a two week trial of a Bootcamp, I've decided to save my money, and do the 30DS instead. Now I'm challenging myself to exceed my friend's results…
