  • I have suspected crown's. I'm just trying to make myself bit healthier and hopefully help symptoms but a lot of it is so I can feel less weak and useless.

  • Sometimes changing your diet up can help with a plateau and one meal isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. Chow mien from the Chinese isn't too bad and I usually do that in these situations or if we get chippy I will get a fish and pick off most of the batter. Another option is to eat before you go then just…
  • It doesn't get better I'm afraid my 4 year old woke me up in the middle of the night 2 nights ago to tell me he'd wet they bed, so sorting that was fun. And school runs are even less fun lol.
  • All veggies are good, as are all fruits but most are high in sugar. Might not work for you but I had a personal trainer who told me to aim for one peice of fruit a day and as many veggies as I could bare to eat, when I did for the first time ever My MFP was no longer in the red for sugar. So like someone else said…
  • I think it's easier to drink water from a sports bottle. I know that sounds silly but you just grab it take a mouthful close it and get on with your day. Where as getting a glass and going to a tap involves thought. For that reason I keep a 700ml bottle of water with me at all times. The tap water here is rank aswell so I…
  • Your eating alot of sugar again this will cause you to retain water. However since most of it's coming from milk you will need to decide if your willing to cut that down. I really struggled with that at the start but now I really only drink milk after a big gym session if i need to get my calories up and for the protein…
  • As you exercise (especially strength training) your muscles tear and your body sends glycine and water to them to help repair them, as you've only started this you may find that you won't loss for a while as your retaining water and building muscle (which is heavier than fat) Get a measuring tape and try keep track that…
  • Your eating alot of salt this will cause you to retain water and bloat so you look bigger than you are. I did lower carb myself this time last year, but I tended to sway toward homemade meats and salads, after a while we found MFP and discovered I also wasn't eating enough. At that point my weight loss had stalled and By…
  • I think your over estimating your exercise, i could do a 45min intense spin class and half an hr or interval training on a treadmill and only just reach 700calories. However you are having a really good lose and are heading in the right direction so just like how you feel with your food think about it more positively and…
  • Most mornings porridge or instant oats (yes I know I could make my own but I prefer the texture) once a week I'll do toast and egg or a bagel and cheese, comes in around 300-400 calories no matter what I have. Today I slept in and missed breakfast so I just had some instant oats and a protein shake after the gym so…
  • I have the opposite problem aswell :( I look fine in photo's and I know I can't be that big cause I'm an ok weight and a uk size 10 in clothes but when I look in the mirror I look and feel massive :(
  • It doesn't matter it's never right anyway.

  • How many calories are you netting in a day? you need a minimum of 1200 and then your 200 exercise calories. I personally can't stick to eating more on exercise days and less on non exercise days so I eat 1450 everyday (with one cheat meal a week) and only eat back exercise calories if I'm starving. This works better for me…
  • I eat 1450 most days, then on days I exercise if I'm hungry I eat more usually no more than half what I worked off.At certain times of the month I get starving for days, on these days I try to make good choices but I don't believe anyone should ever feel hungry so I do keep eating! thankfully it only lasts 2-3 days. Then I…
  • Chances are his meal is alot worse for him than he thinks, Its easy to get 1000calories in a dinner if you don't think it threw. Then energy drinks/soda at 200cal a pop, plus then maybe the odd cookie or tub of ice cream. It soon add's up.
  • I have a lovely maxi dress that I could just about get into last year with help from my husband. My aim is for the zip to slide up nice and easy this year :) So mine will be when I can actually get it on all by myself.
  • I have days like this aswell. Infact i have a whole week like this every month. We have one meal where I can say "ok I need pms chinese" and we get it as our cheat meal that week even if its not the weekend.I did low carb and I was still like this its def a hormonal thing. By allowing myself one cheat meal I know i can…
