emergency Medicine Doc= Emergency Room Doctor Once I put an entry for a snack for the next day. Then during that day I did not put any other entries because of major life drama. I also did not click "complete logging" for that day. Few days later I got the "congrats" for consecutive logging message. I wasn't expecting that…

If you log just one scrap of bread or 1 calorie of workout then you get credit for logging that day. I rarely hit that button anymore and continue to get updates of my consecutive logs every 5 days. You can hit it any time to get your "6 week message" You can go back to days gone past and click it to get that message. I…

Good luck. Anyone may add me. Some of my MFPs seemed to have quit.

Logged every day on MFP for past 90+ days. Walk EVERY day as bulk of my exercise, and it is so effortless and easy I decided to commit to that so I didn't quit exercising. recently started lifting free weights 2 weeks ago. I have KBs at home but decided I wanted more fat loss before using them again. Will start using KBs…

Use a calculator. Several already posted in this post. TDEE is total calories you burn in a day if you just stayed in bed all day (BMR)+ energy used for daily activity. If you eat this amount daily your weight should not change over time. 25lbs is a lot if you are not entirely new to lifting. Your caloric needs would vary…

You may add me.

"30 minutes is only 2% of your day." Now I walk at least 1 mile EVERY day (which takes 16-18 minutes) for the last 90 days.

works fine with my android daily.

Anyone may add me. Using BMF for 9 weeks now. Started on day 3 of my MFP journey. Only take it off for showers and occasionally when sleeping. One of the best investments I've made so far. I purchased the largest size arm band and funny thing is after 9 weeks the regular size one that the MFP came with keeps sliding down…

Request sent. using mine daily for 9 weeks now.

This is where I'm at now. Anyone may add me.

add me. I just hit 50 days in a row. Started at 275lbs on MFP I hit my max weight at 282 last year.

I started walking May 13th and I'd say walking accounts for about 95% of calories lost from exercise. I like walking since it is so easy to do! If I would walk only 18mins a day or 1 mile daily I'd burn enough calories to lose 12.5lbs. I have promised myself to walk at least 1 mile every day for the rest of my life. So far…

I like walking!

Never too late to join. Workouts look good. You've done that circuit with those weights before? Good luck!

Momma always said I'd do something big. If I'm no longer in the top 5 for total weight loss, may I suggest a top 10. :) Good job everyone. Consistency is key.

Didn't realize I was a week 2 "winner". Oh well time to relinquish the title belt. last week Friday I went back home to visit the family. I made a lot of good food choices, continued to workout, did not overeat, and limited my alcohol 2 beers for the whole weekend. I did however enjoy all the food but in smaller portions…

You need to update the ticker manually sometimes in the APPS-->TICKER-->UPDATE WEIGHT

Is OP on MFP these days? Anyone have the spreadsheets?

1 round of KBs done. sorry for being a crappy host to a challenge. I'm proud of the work everyone is doing. I never thought I could get sucked into walking for exercise so much that KBs is taking a back seat. During my last walk i realize the problem and I'm currently fixing that.

I keep reading online about people buying Kbells from Play It Again Sports. Are they new or used and which brand?

I just seriously started my journey to health mid May 2013. I'm trying to be an early riser since when I work days I need to leave home 6am and don't get home until 8-9pm. I prefer AM workouts because I start losing my motivation to workout as the day progresses. For now I am walking, doing kettlebells and calisthenics. I…

I'm in NY and it has been raining a lot so it might be the same in MA. Maybe you could both just try walking together as a couple for 15-30minutes/day in the morning or after dinner. Don't call it a workout but maybe just "time together". Perhaps walk to some destination that does not involve a food reward. Watching what I…

Good job all around everyone. I hope to be able to one day post in one of these topics.
