What's the point? Why 18 pounds? Why by that date? You can't lose that much by the end of the month without several pounds being water weight (unless you cut off a foot or something). The weight would come back one you started eating and drinking again.

They're probably thinking about how some say yo-yo dieting can damage metabolism. Assuming that's even true, what you're doing isn't the typical "yo-yo dieting". You are working to cut fat and build muscle in a controlled manner. When people yo-yo diet they can often lose muscle along with fat, and then end up gaining more…

You don't need to burn all those calories through exercise! You're burning calories all the time by breathing, digesting, working, doing chores, etc. As @callsitlikeiseeit said, just eat the number of calories MFP gives you. Try calculating your BMR (google BMR calculator) to get an idea of how many calories you burn just…

Yes, definitely. My brother and sister were always pickier than I was, and they would get full more easily. Some of this is "nature" and some is "nurture". Since I was less picky, my parents praised me for finishing my food and taking seconds. This may have led me to eat more, and now it's pretty hard for me to feel full…
