  • Mom of 2- Same with the schedule, I honestly have no more things I could squeeze into my day. Yup- 5:30am. But I really like sleep- so right now I just do it 3 days a week. I try to get something else in on Saturday and Sunday so I am still working out 5 days a week.
  • You don't have to be perfect, just better than yesterday. Or make this week better than last week. I had a really hard time starting. I was unhappy, and knew what I had to do, just lacking the motivation. Then I read what I wrote above on MFP. My small change at first was healthy breakfast. I did that for a week. Then I…
  • I was having issues until I went into the Health App and went to sources to allow MFP to read and write. I'm guessing you did that already. What are you needing to sync? I've noticed that it only adjust calories for actual workouts.
  • Hi- I'm Chrysten! I'm 34, mom of two cute boys, and live in Southwest Florida. I am super busy and have used that as an excuse to eat poorly and give in. Even if we have to grab take out, which happens, I can choose something healthy!! That is my goal, to just always make the healthy choice. I love the idea of…
  • The timer is an awesome idea, overcooking can be a problem!
  • Thank you, I have heard of crockpot liners but never used them. I sometimes have a problem with my food overcooking since I leave for work so early. I know this sounds like excuses, but just wondering if you have any tips to keep that from happening.
  • Well this seems uncalled for. He also works and he and I coach their teams. I was asking for ideas, not for snarky answers.
  • I would love more friends on here!
  • We haven't been doing much pasta at home, which is sad. But I have been staying away from it because I couldn't accurately log it. So maybe I will be able to eat pasta again and finally know how much of it I am eating!
  • I found one on Amazon I liked. And I am the same, this is the longest streak I have ever had, and I am down 10 lbs, which is awesome don't get me wrong, just feel like I can do a little more, as I know the weight will only come off slower!
  • I gave up cereal... which I love. But not enough protein or volume for my breakfast :( It's all about changing habits :)
  • I'm looking for friends as well! I have taken off 20 lbs after my last baby, but he's almost 3! Just purchased my food scale so I can be seriously motivated in this. Friend me if you'd like!
  • I love my Dietbet. I'm doing a transformer, in month 3 now. The dietbet has made me stay accountable for a long period of time. I'm usually good on my own for about 3 weeks, but with the dietbet I have to keep going. I am down 11 lbs on this challenge. My only negative is that I missed my last weigh in by .5 lbs. And I was…
  • On my way down- lost 20 of the 50 I want to lose. My boys are 6 and 3 and I work full time. The biggest change for me is changing what is convenient. I always have a can of soup or lean cuisine around. I stock healthy snacks, like a cheesestick or almonds. I mostly eat poorly because I don't have the energy left to think…
  • On my way. Now 164, middle 168, before 174. I'm 5'2. https://goo.gl/photos/mNgyXanAXhHf8Gc89
  • My kids are 6 and 2. And the 2 year old... he was not a sleeper. I was so stressed that first year. I wanted to lose weight, I had a fairly new job, got the job just before getting pregnant, my husband started his job 2 weeks before we had my little guy. The moral to this story. Take care of you. Sleep when you need it.…
  • Hi there! 5'2 and 163 this morning, 20 lbs is also my goal. I am down from 183 at the beginning of the year. Hopefully I am more focused because I know this next 20 will be even harder. Feel free to send me a friend request!
  • I find that I just commit to three times a week. That's only twice during the work week that I have to find the motivation. Then at least once on the weekend. I do the same with feeling guilty, or not wanting to get up. So just twice a week I throw out all of my excuses. This is sustainable for me.
  • Target has a specific type that is cup sized, works very well (36DD) and is under $30!
  • Target sells a version that comes in Bras sizes. I am also a 38dd, I play soccer, and I have found these bras to work really well. Also, they are under $30 each. http://www.target.com/p/c9-champion-women-s-high-support-sports-bra-with-molded-cup/-/A-16455651#prodSlot=large_1_2
  • Mostly I don't have time, and I could never find it, but I make it. The biggest change I had to make was choosing exercise over TV. I have two young kids and work full time. They go to bed by 8, and I put on my exercise clothes and do a video. Sometimes my husband joins me, but usually I have to find the motivation to…
  • In for findings! I have been in the same talk with my mom. She keeps thinking she has to hit the elliptical, but I know lifting would make a huge difference. My words keep hitting a wall so I am hoping your stories will help! I show her the usual threads, but own of women like her would be great!
  • I love this! I go through this same battle everytime I run, but today I gave up on my run. Next time out when I start getting negative, i will just think of you and make myself keep going!
  • Thank you so much for your positive messages! It put a smile on my face and I know the nexttime I go out I WILL do this! I needed these positive messages to kick my negative self talk in the butt.
  • Your too right, I just need to keep running. The second I stop it becomes an excuse for the rest of the workout!
  • Thank you so much! I know a lot of this is mental! Just needed some encouragement to keep my feet moving.
  • I just had my baby May 16th and am back to working out. I was 195 when I gave birth. I actually started with 30 day shred too with modifications. I found that the more I did the better I felt, but I think I pushed it too soon. I had to take a break for about a week. Then I started with yoga to strengthen my core, felt I…
  • First, I would make sure these are shin splints. I suferred for a long time with what I thought were shin splints. After seeing a physical trainer, I found out that I have a tendency to have very tight hamstrings. If I do not warm-up and stretch properly, my shins will have to work harder to pick my foot up when I run, and…
  • I'm with you! I just reset after having a baby. It was too hard to see my pre baby numbers on mfp. We can lose the weight again! Please add me!
