I know exactly what you're talking about! We live on a freshwater lake and the midges arrived last week. I seriously can not stand them!!

Haha! I feel the same way sometimes... In all honesty, I can deal with the weight better than my eyesight. I've had 20/20 vision my entire life, never wore contacts or glasses. Wearing readers all the time is so flippin' annoying!! :grumble:

I'm 49 and found I really need to limit those glasses of wine during the week in order to lose and keep it off. I gained 3 lbs over 2 weeks ago and it took me 2 full weeks to get it back off, I really think not drinking during the week made the difference. My husband and I keep talking about how it seems like it's harder…

I keep a bar of dark chocolate in my freezer and eat one square. I also keep Weight Watchers dark chocolate and raspberry popsicles in my freezer, only 90 calories and really good. I guess it depends on where you are calorie-wise in your day. A couple calories over isn't the end of the world ...

I can't quote any sources or give any kind of numbers ... I just know from my personal experience these last couple of months. I'm not losing much weight but my body is definitely changing. In the past I spent countless hours doing some type of cardio. Treadmill 5-7 days a week, minimum 20 minutes a day M-F and anywhere…

I definitely would not eat salad if I was going to drink. If I know I'm going to have more than a drink or two I eat a higher protein meal that will stay with me longer. But yes, cutting calories, eating healthier and of course getting older ALL work together to bring your tolerance down.

EXACTLY!! :drinker:

Agreed! I usually do mine around the end of the month, will be checking them this weekend. Weight loss has been very slow but I can definitely feel differences and my clothes are fitting much better.
