when I use my bands I leave the "weight" at zero. When I do strength training I list all of my strength training exercises under the strength section, but then I go up to the cardio section and list it as strength training to get my calorie burn

I agree totally, and completely understand! My problem is the incessant comments made by family members. EVERY TIME THEY SEE ME (several times a week) they feel the need to say something. I use the strength bands with the handle that locks in the door (you can get them in various tensions). You can target all areas of your arms with them, and increase tension as needed :) Prior to that I would do tricep dips using the support of the frame on the front of the couch, or good ole' push-ups :)

As it was explained to me -if MFP tells you 1280 they are allowing a 1,000 calorie deficit - which actually means 2280 calories a day. That's why you get to eat more when you exercise, and still lose weight when you don't. :D

I prefer the higher resistance - it builds muscle which in turn burns fat :) win! win!
