Definitely get the gloves they make a world of difference. I completed LMC without the extra discs and saw great results however in the future I may buy the additional disc.

Great Job everyone! I had gained 2.5 lbs last week after starting a new exercise routine but this morning I lost 1 of those lbs, I'm down to 126.5!

Gammerthumbs- there isn't anything wrong with protein powder. I don't consume them because I rather chew food than drink it. If your lifting and trying to build lean muscle then it's a good idea because you will need the xtra protein.

Protein powders are not necessary if you get protein out of other foods.like eggs,chicken, turkey, beans,quinoa ect. As far as carbs you can have whole wheat bread but try to limit it to once a day because other foods already contain carbs. I eat a half on English muffin in the morning as my carb. Dont give up ladies! Dua'a- I get bloated and retain water alot aswell. Its normal just stay with it. :) Audoe- you lost a little more than a pound , your still on track! I changed quite a few things in my diet and the order I workout and eat and dropped 2lbs this week!
