How do you do that?

I agree with everyone here - I'm paying big bucks for a trainer and nutritionalist (hey I need all the help I can get LOL) and they both want me to eat tons of protein! They also put me at way higher calories than MFP did as well...
-
I second boars head if you must to deli meats - another way to go is to cook a chicken breast or turkey breast either steam it or in the slow cooker etc...then carve it up and put it in the fridge in a container - lessens cooking time to make it easier on you - not as easy as deli meat but healthier!

Let me friends here, I need motivation too!! I fell off the wagon too - hell I JUMPED off the darn thing!! And I need to get back on double quick!

Oh yes!! I sure do keep it up!

My fitness trainer and my dietition both requested I eat 140 to 160 g of protein per day - and it's hard for me to get that much in (it's just a goal though) - I usually end up at over 100 though. If you are trying to replace fat with muscel as you lose it then you need more protein. Other wise your weight might go down…

My favorite fruit and veggie storage tips: (from ehow) ************** Be careful what fruits and vegetables you store together. Some produce releases ethylene gas. This gas speeds up the decay process of ethylene sensitive vegetables and fruit. Gas releasers that should be refrigerated separately include apples, apricots,…

It depends on your weight and other factors but I am 5'2 and weight almost 200 lbs, am 32 years old and female (and started at 42% body fat, now down to 40%)... My calories are around 1700 a day and they want me to get around 140 grams of protein a day (this is from both my nutrionalist and my personal trainer) I noticed…

A good quote I once read in the book "food rules" "if someone handed it to you through the window of your car, it's not food!"

Bread is ok - flour is what's bad for you. You can find flourless breads - and super healthy breads are out there - but here, check out these top two "bread myths" from Web MD - they explain very well how misleading packaging on bread is! Many breads that say multi-grain or wheat bread --- really just white bread with a…

Do you track the calories on your cheat day? If you don't you might want to 0 at least once, you might be undoing all your hard work. If you have stopped losing, then something isn't working...
-
I know there is a lot of conflicting ideas on this - but I think one cheat meal a week could be too many depending on your size and the what you are eatting durring that meal... If you are doing enough work to lose one pound during the week, you could easily be gaining that one pound back on a cheat day if your cheat day…

My personal trainer wants me to eat a lot of protein and has set up the following for me and it is working so far (it's the amount of food that will vary for your calorie range, and obvously mix and make subs to not get bored) - I have a 1600-1700 calorie range for fat burn (before workingout) and I work out a lot - this…

It's hard to hold on to the wagon when the wagon is moving 100 miles an hour! It sounds like you are doing great. You ate one meal (out with friends it sounds like?) You deserve it, you still have to live your life. You eat clean and healthy 99% of the time so that you CAN enjoy yourself as a treat now and then. You have…

Maybe they don't realize it's set to private by default and they have to go in and change it?

Tonight: Udon Noodles, Miso soup, steamed baby bok choy - one juicy date stuffed with cashew butter for dessert. Also I have some squash that needs to be cooked so while I'm cooking it for tomorrow I'm sure I will add some to tonight's dinner!

I am vegetarian (and no eggs) - I'm moving towards Vegan now!
