Eating is my main downfall...that and food. Emotional eating, mindless snacking, and eating just to be eating. I like to eat, which is why I am here...to change the way I eat and why I eat.

It's a psychological thing, I do not see myself as attractive, never have, so it is hard for me to believe that losing weight would change that. Feel better about myself, maybe; but not more attractive. It is something I know I will have to work along the way.

Unfortunately for me losing weight will not make me attractive, so for me it is more about trying to be healthier. :)

I am an emotional eater and one that eats out of boredom. I eat because it makes me feel good. I do not like how I look, how I feel, and I feel I am unworthy....Food does not judge..it fills a void even if only temporarily. Throw being mostly inactive and bored on top of that....I see the result every day in the mirror.…

Honestly..Beans and Rice. I'm not talking traditional beans and rice, but the kind you throw together on a whim. I even thought I was doing good by using brown rice. For me...there are several things. I avoid the camera at all costs. I do not like the way I look in pictures, as I am not photogenic at all. Another is hearing about my kids getting teased because of their "fat momma". Kids are cruel anyways, but to pick on them for something totally out of their control. I can not stand…

Watermelon....I can sit and eat it until I'm stuffed to the gills. grapes apples celery and salads. 40 5'7" SW: 300(Jun 2013) - Not 100% sure what my starting weight was due to broken scale..but I figured number was pretty close. CW: 287 GW: 160 Once I get closer to my goals, I will re-evaluate my goals to figure out what the next step for me is.

I'm 5'7 and have well over 100lbs to lose. I have always been told I don't look like I weigh as much as I really do. They may not can see it, but I feel every one of those 300+ lbs on my body. You can never have too many friends and motivators during this journey to change your life.
