  • Helllllo! Tore my ACL in a skiing accident last year. :( physical therapy was actually a little work-out, but I found the best way was swimming. Hopefully you have access to a pool! I actually wasn't able to do much swimming in spite of my tenacity. If you can't work out, go HARD on your nutrition and make sure you are…
  • OH MY LORD! You look AMAZING! Good for you!!!!
  • Unsweetened vanilla almond milk has the lowest amount of calories (40 in a cup!) and is my personal favorite. I drank rice dream for a long time (love it) but when I am watching my weight I stick to Almond Breeze. Soy milk tastes okay, however, too much soy is dangerous for anyone (especially women) as it increases…
  • hey girl! I'll be yo friiiennddd!! :)
  • Fish!! low fat- HIGH protein. tuna, mahi mahi, cod, salmon... the list goes on.
  • Why don't you try taping pictures of what motivates you to lose weight to the things that will hinder it! I have a picture of me 15 pounds thinner on my fridge so that every time I go to eat I am reminded of my goal. If that doesn't work... get it out of your house! also... There is an AMAZING news letter/cookbook series…
  • Protein is great for weight loss! Especially if you are exercising. It is harder for your body to digest so it revvs up your metabolism as it does. I asked a personal trainer about this a few days ago because I am also sometimes over. He said it won't hurt as long as I curb my fat/ carb intake a bit. You should read this…
  • I'm no nutritionist, but I know sugar does not necessarily help your causes at all if you're trying to lose weight. I always consider the source as well- sugar from fresh fruit is WAAAAY different from sugar in cereal, ice cream, cookies... etc.
  • Hi! Do you have any friends or family that have the same/similar goals? Because I find it always helps me if I have a buddy. Otherwise, I put my earphones in, crank the music up as loud as it can go, and ignore everyone else! You are all there for the same reason, regardless your level of fitness. If they are too busy…
  • I usually don't have lots of time in the morning either, so I mix plain yogurt with fruit (peaches, blueberries, or strawberries) and muesli. I also have egg whites and avocado on a piece of wheat toast- which I know sounds unusual, but it is totally yummy and filling! The avocado kind of mocks the taste of butter. Hope…
  • Work out and eat lotsa greens... it is TOTALLY possible! You can dooo it!
  • I cut out coffee completely. If you really need that burst of energy in the morning and you allow your body to adapt to it, orange juice can give you the same effect. Coffee is highly acidic, and acidic foods/ drinks make you store fat. (unless, of course, it is fruit.)
