I personally would never wear makeup to the gym just because I have no desire to sweat in makeup and clog up my pores. However, I have no problems whatsoever with what other women choose to do. Those ladies sound extremely catty and petty. Just ignore them.

I have been in a couple of weddings, and I paid for my own dress both times. However, the bride consulted with us first on finding reasonable dresses at reasonable prices.

Definitely unrealistic. Most of the 8 pounds is probably water. Just be patient and consistent, and you will see results. .5-2 pounds per week is healthy and normal depending on the amount that you are trying to lose. Good luck!

I just have to say that I LOVE that you still you this device that hasn't been popular for many years. I was just wondering what ever happened to mine from high school the other day. I would totally use it now while watching tv or doing other mindless activities. Idk how effective it is, but it cant hurt, right? :D

My motivations: Cabin fever, fighting Seasonal Affective Disorder and the fact that spring and summer will be coming eventually. I love going to the gym on most days, but these things motivate me when I am feeling blah and sluggish.

I used to have this problem. I made sure that I drank plenty of water throughout the day, and I also started drinking a big protein shake before bed. That cured the middle of the night munchies for me. As Phrick mentioned, sleep medications do commonly cause this as well.

Definitely been there! The holidays are particularly difficult with all of the vacation time. Find something to keep you busy---preferably something outside of the house. I worked from home last year, and working with a fully stocked refrigerator a mere 20 feet away did not help. It will help keep your mind off of food…

You, sir, are a genius. lol. My FL is rapidly shrinking, but I talk to most of them outside of MFP anyway, so it's not a huge deal. I guess they just got sick of it.
