Sour Cream and Onion Lays.

Either don't eat back your calories from exercise or increase your deficit. There's only one reason you're gaining weight, and it's because your consuming more calories than you're burning. Maybe you're misjudging calories burned or not actually measuring and weighing everything. Unless you're defying the laws of…

I have no clue what facial piercings have to do with personal training. Like... none. But I understand what you're saying, there's different kinds of people and some might be put off. Frankly, if you're good at your job, the ones who don't care will keep you plenty busy.

I eat whatever I want as long as it's within my calorie goal and my macros are more or less on point. Tonight, for example, I'm having chicken nachos and wine... light on the tortilla chips, heavy on the chicken! It fits, so whatevs.

yup. I have one art home and there's a few at my gym.

When I first started exercising, I did Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It was great for beginners because there's a good modifier, plus it wasn't all cardio, it's a 3-2-1 circuit program. I lost 18 pounds during my first round.

If you have access to a pool, swimming would be a safe bet.

Egg roll in a bowl.

I switched to tea with a splash of milk. I just can't do coffee without proper creamer, but like you, I was putting at least 100 calories worth of cream in it so had to cut it out. Not completely, I still have it on the weekends with breakfast.

More posts like this! Definitely buying these cookies next grocery run.

370 calories in a hamburger happy meal if you order it with a diet coke. Sounds like a nice weekend lunch treat. Interested in this "fresh beef" thing.

Check out aworkoutroutine.com. There's an excellent beginners workout there, plus loads and loads of no B.S. nutrition information.

Thanks! There's a routine there that I think will work just fine.

I have dark blonde hair, so even the tiniest bit of oil makes my hair look dirty. And I haven't found a dry shampoo yet that doesn't look like I have powder in my hair (I've tried several). So, yeah, I do wash my hair every day, but if I don't work out one day, I try not to wash it if I don't have to. I use a deep…

I've been taking a B50 complex vitamin every day for the past two years. There's no effect on weight loss, but I do find it helps keep me from falling asleep at my desk in the middle of the day. Injections are typically only given to people who are deficient anyway.

Are you familiar with intermittent fasting? I'm doing the 16:8 version, but given my schedule, I can't work out fasted. Will i get the same results? And why do they suggest low carb for IF? Is that really necessary? And how low carb are we talking?

Depends what your goal is. If you're trying to lose weight, no. If you're trying to maintain or gain, yes.

Me too... Sour Cream and Onion Lays are my weakness. I still have them... Once a week or so. I just buy an individual-sized bag now instead of a big bag!

I just started. I tested it out for 5 days before Christmas, just to find out if I could do it without being miserable and lost 4.5 pounds. I had a headache and a little fatigue, but I'm prepared to fight that off this time with some chicken broth. Stopped for Christmas because well, I'm not a fan of deprivation! The past…

Just started low carb last week. Taco salad for lunch and it was delicious! With cheese AND guacamole. Anyone carb cycline???

I walk around the building. There is also a restroom up two flights of stairs, so I run up and down those instead of using the restroom on my floor.

I make potato wedges tossed in olive oil and parmesan. Sometimes, I'll throw some flour in a bowl and season it with paprika, cumin, garlic powder salt and pepper. Toss your potatoes in milk (sounds weird, I know), then in the flour mixture and bake at 425 for roughly 30 minutes.

I like a mix of both... but this thing about the sweat and the hair. I have no idea what you mean! I sweat like a pig when I do strength training!
-
Spinach! Also, not nutrient dense, but herbs. I love having whatever I want on hand - basil, thyme, rosemary and oregano. I haven't had ANY luck with cilantro, which I love... if anyone has any tips, please toss them my way!

Try eating more meals, but smaller portions.

Healthy fats are the way to go! Natural, unsalted peanut butter, olive oil, avocado, etc.

No, but if you're going to drink that much of something, it may as well be water, right? More beneficial in the long run! I have a Coke Zero probably once a week... nothing wrong with it.

What are you doing to exercise? Portion control is key. If you don't have a food scale, I highly suggest picking one up.

Pneumonia is a very serious illness, especially with all the antibiotic resistance and superbugs going around these days. It's soooo important to rest and recover. And by rest, I mean literally stay in bed and watch movies all day with gallons and gallons of water. I can't stress enough the importance of taking care of…
