Bay Area (South Bay) here, hello :)

I got all rage-y at Crunchyroll today when it kept losing the connection to my Chromecast. I do enjoy a good anime. Currently watching Gingitsune and recently saw Yona of the Dawn (loved it, need more). Sometimes I'll stream a show on my phone while I'm on the treadmill. Makes things a little more fun.

Maangchi is one of my favorite people. Each recipe of hers that I've made has turned out awesome!

I use a DivaCup myself. It's been nice to not have to worry about stocking up on tampons. Sometimes I have a really heavy flow and I don't want to have to run to the bathroom every hour or two for maintenance. I love being able to put in the cup and go about my day as usual.

Kickin' butt and takin' names. I love your attitude. Keep it up! You're awesome!

Try not to let it discourage you too much. You're still quite young and you have lots to experience. I didn't have my first relationship until I was 26. I didn't even date before that. I've now been in a relationship with a wonderful guy for almost four years. The good guys are worth waiting for. I would still encourage…

To me personally, I consider anything over 5'10" to be tall for a woman. But then I'm 6'1" so almost everyone is short to me.

You look like a whole new person! Congrats!

My underwear. I splurged on some really comfortable stuff earlier this year and by summer it was looking pretty tight and rubbing in all the wrong places. Now it's almost too big! :)

Sesame chicken over steamed veggies and rice. Tasty tasty!

This is the first response that made me literally laugh out loud.

I have a similar amount I'm looking to lose. LET'S DO THIS. :glasses:

Just on the verge of 120 sticks of butter...we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!

Me! I haven't been under 200 lbs since I was 12/13. I have a picture of me in 6th grade at a track meet and I looked pretty good then, but again, I was 12. I don't have a clue what not being obese would look like or feel like.

Vegetables in general. I was okay with a few (green beans, broccoli, bell peppers), but I had a serious fear and loathing of almost everything else. Now I eat lots of veggies and I enjoy them. Even brussels sprouts! However... I will never, EVER like beets. I've tried. They're yucky.

At my heaviest, I weighed 357 lbs. At my last weigh-in, I was down to 327. 30/F/6'1", always happy to meet new friends!

This is from about a year and a half ago, but I was doing a Biggest Loser competition and had lost about 42 lbs. My boyfriend's mom told me one day, "My, you're looking svelte!" I was still over 300 lbs, but I knew that I was looking a lot better than I had when we started. Her remark made my day.

I'm late responding to this, but I feel you. I'm pretty much completely incapacitated right now after several weeks of doing great walking exercise. I've been looking into simple bodyweight exercises. I don't know how many calories it would burn, but I know I don't sweat as much doing calisthenics and I can still build a…

When I go swimming, I wear a basic black one-piece and some swim shorts over that to hide the scars on my legs. Can't do much about hiding my underarms, although I know that you can get rash guards (like what surfers wear) that will cover that. Basically, dress like a surfer, but swim like a lifeguard. LOL

March 22...anybody? Bueller?

I've been tall all my life. I reached my full height of 6'1" when I was 13. I got called "tall girl" a lot in school. Decided to own it.

Chicken tikka masala over brown rice, with a small serving of saag paneer on the side. I  Indian food.

6'1", I wear a men's 13. If I could find women's shoes in my size, I think I'd be around a 14.5 since the size 15s I have in my closet are a bit too big, and 14s are too small.

Hello fellow 30-somethings, I'm Kristi, 30, originally from Spokane, WA but currently living in Santa Clara, CA. I live with my boyfriend, Jacob, and our cat, Noodle. I'm just trying to get healthier to make life a little more enjoyable and to prepare for things I want to do in the future, like have a family and all of…

Seriously, don't do anything without the advice and supervision of your doctor. Quitting psych meds can cause terrible withdrawal symptoms. If your doctor really feels you need it, it's probably best to stay on them. However, if you both agree to wean off of them, it's not an overnight process. It will take time to do it…

Had to dig through my closet to find my belt today. Clothes are starting to get a little looser. :D
