I'm starting over again too. I know its been a while since your post, but I feel like we have a lot in common. I'm also 41, no kids. Wonderful husband but sometimes wants to order out too much instead of the great meal I have planned. I am just below 360 myself and am trying Paleo, but daggone, all those little…

Well, I'm back... Another year where the school year ruined my diet. But its summer and I'm trying again....

I'm currently addicted to Michelle Tam at Nom Nom Paleo and her two books. I found my first few things on Pinterest.

I do LOVE my slow cooker! I haven't gotten an Instant Pot yet, but I do also have a separate pressure cooker. Love the thoughts of forming meatloaf and burgers ahead! Also, totally with you on breakfast for dinner!! :) Just for my own addition to what I hope will be a good conversation here, I found Bubba Burgers and 100%…

If anyone else is still here, friend me!

Hi, all! I've been doing MFP and Paleo off and on for about 3 years. I live in Ohio with my hubby, cat, and gecko. I am a teacher and tend to do really great with Paleo during the summer, but have a hard time in the fall when life gets really busy. Hubby is supportive and Paleo, but works more than I do, so isn't a lot of…

I've had another bad few weeks. I've been really stressed and really busy and haven't lost a thing in the last two weeks. Thank goodness I haven't gained either though. It's time to get back on track and I started Friday with getting back on track. Maybe Wednesday morning's weigh in will finally show a loss.

Congrats to those of you who have made it. I haven't yet. But this group gives me hope!

I do Paleo and there are some great Paleo boards that might be helpful to your low carb lifestyle. My favorite is Paleo/Primal support group.

NSV: I was shopping yesterday and my shoe came untied. This is usually bad because I need to sit down and put my foot up and tie them... But yesterday, I bent over and tied my shoe. I haven't done that in years....

Yup. You know exactly how I feel! :) I haven't seen the 1's since the first digit of my age was in the 1's too!! I might have hit the 2's in late high school. I might keep it this way for now, at least until I start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

I found my measuring tape... And here's the fun part!!! Since I started (108 days ago), I have lost 1 inch from my neck, 7 inches from my waist, and 6 inches from my hips!!!! No wonder my old pants don't fit!!!
-
Congrats, rdfhunter!!!! I lost 2.2 this week so I'm at 314.2 now. Hubby's at 315.1 so I'm beating him!!!
-
Lost 2.2 last week. I'm having a friendly competition with hubby to lose weight this month. (He thrives on competition.) Goals for the week: Massive planning and prepping today to get ready for the week No stress overeating - its going to be a busy week Save money by making no unplanned stops Be reasonable when I go out to…

Weigh in day for me today! I lost 2.2, dropping me down to 314.2.

I'm not a snacker and prefer to eat dinner before 7. I just can't sleep when I have dinner too late! SO I eat dinner at about 6:30 and don't eat breakfast until about 7:30 the next morning. Between then I only drink water or sometimes some hot tea with raw honey. I've never tried any other fasting though.

Lost 3.2 in the last two weeks. Remember, I was sick last week and didn't weigh-in. :) I'm also happy to report I had to overdry two shirts last week in order to make them fit and today I'm wearing a pair of pants for the last time because they are TOO big!!! *HAPPY DANCE*
-
Awesome job, Alana!!! I lost 3.2 over the last two weeks. I was sick and didn't weigh in last week so I'm at 316.4. I'm getting there!!!

I just started a motivational thread on 300-400 Pound Club to "race" to the 200's. If you want to play, come on over. I need some help myself staying motivated and seeing that 2 is the most motivating thing I can think of right now.
-
Just for fun. If you want to play, post here after you weigh in next. First one to 299.9 wins! :)

Mine: My 12 inch round skillet. My ceramic knives My recycled paper cutting boards. Immersion blender Crock pot ( large and small) the 50 million containers I know use for prep

Bad week last week. I've been sick with that cold that's been going around and I have had no energy to cook. I've been sick for a week. It started with a sore throat and I didn't want to eat anything except scrambled eggs. Then I got the coughing, but I was starving from not eating so I devoured anything fast and easy.…

I had allergy testing done when I wasn't sure if my dairy problem was an allergy or intolerance. They did a scratch test and said I'm not allergic. However, my body acts like I either am allergic o have a VERY serious intolerance. It's good to confirm if its an allergy and you might need an epi-pen. However, it might be…

Hubby and I changed our weigh-in day to Tuesday so I'm a bit ahead of the crowd here. BUT. I lost 1.6 this week for a grand total of 30.5. I managed most of my goals last week, but I didn't do great on the three day weekend. Hubby wanted to take me out and I overindulged. Goals for this week: Limit the coffee. I hate…

Recipes on Pinterest. Free and yummy!!! Great way to beat boredom for me is to make a new recipe! http://www.pinterest.com/carrierowland77/paleo-ish/ http://www.pinterest.com/carrierowland77/recipes-ive-tried/ http://www.pinterest.com/carrierowland77/paleo-soup-and-salad/…

Congrats on reaching the 2's!!! I'm at 321 and I'm thinking about the 2's almost daily! I think I'm going to jump up and down when I see that 2.

Counting calories is great, but in my humble opinion, it isn't everything. And frankly, there is more to your diet and your life style than calories and exercise. If you count calories for doughnuts in the morning, fast food for lunch, and fried whatever for dinner, even if you are under your calories, you are sabotaging…

I have a homemade Worcestershire that I was paleoizing. The fish sauce was the only ingredient I couldn't replace. I'd do that first! Of course typical substitutes necessary - coconut aminos for soy sauce, etc. http://www.littlehouseliving.com/worcestershire-sauce-recipe.html#_a5y_p=1950823

Started at 351. Lost 29 so far. Most of it seems to be in my back. My shirts are a lot looser. Hubby swears I've lost some in the stomach and my jeans are a little looser, but I haven't even lost a jean size yet. Still 28P

lost 2.6 lbs since her last weigh-in! Carrieann8's lost 28.9 lbs so far. Goals: NO fast food stops. Not even for sweet tea!!! (daggone bladder infection) Don't overeat on a 3 day weekend just because I have time off! Pack lunch, pack snacks, eat right!
